Yeah they're so lazy some of the biggest tech companies on earth are helmed by Indian.

I do not see any BS in any of the posts other than the deniers of J Culture. Clearly none of you have been to the major cities in Japan.

It is quite amazing what people call racism nowadays. I copped a ton of it growing up in Australia but never have I labelled those involved as racist.

I do not consider a critique of an ethnic group to be racist because the critic is not based on the race of the person but on the actions of that group.
In other words I am not saying you are Indian so you are bad or lazy I am saying you are bad and lazy and you happen to be Indian. It is the laziness I am judging and as in all areas of life if a pattern begins to show itself I am going to be alert and forewarned when I interview someone more likely to be of that type. That is how humans have survived for centuries.
I still judge each individual person solely on their behaviour and actions.

Pretty pointless trying to have an intelligent informed conversation or debate on this subject but I am happy to poke the bear once or twice. It spices life up!

My 2 cents worth from someone with a large Indian family contingent and a brain the size of a planet for free even.

You need to understand the caste system and to accept that Indians from different nations even different areas are very different types of people.

There is a huge variety of personalities and work ethics in Indians just any other race.

However it is fairly universally accepted that some types of Indians (men) are indeed the laziest and companies steer well clear of hiring them.
The lower castes generally tend to be harder workers. Look at the car park attendees and cleaners in Malaysia for example.
Many upper classes or if you like Indian Business owners on the other hand blatantly engage in what could easily be termed slave labour.
Many online scams that I have shut down are run out of India (yes other countries too) and call centre workers have a bad rep for a reason.

Of course there are hard working Indians who have to be tough just to rise above the masses and get their share.

Generalisations are just that, observed patterns if u like there is no need to be offended by them.

I actually had not noticed that my PM was Indian. Good on him and thanks for pointing that out. I do not see race or colour I just see people and judge them by their actions.

Not sure what your angle is mentioning Indians helm tech companies. It just opens you up to criticism and exposes the great inequality in wealth distribution in India.
Yes there are many bright young Indian Techies and Australia is an easy market for them. Australia being so technologically behind the rest of the world with a few exceptions like mining industry. It actually is quite breathtaking how technologically retarded this country is but that is a whole different conversation involving wilful constriction by Governments. That is why a lot of Aus Tech companies move overseas.

Interesting dialogue....I suspect the POV's relate to difference between ABI's and Indians fresh off the boat.

Lived in Japan for a few years, dated many Japanese girls, as well as having many more friends. High squeaky voice is just an anime or JAV thing and maybe a handful of wls eho think that's what guys want. A lot of women the world over have their "formal" and "informal" voices, so do guys, I bet many on here speak in a different tone and structure in work situations vs with mates etc (maybe exaggerated bass, more rounded vowels etc), but the voice the op is referring to is really only in those media.

I reckon only maybe 10% to 15% of Japanese girls do the "JAV squeak".
It's a learnt behaviour. It's not necessarily fake.
