Less girls doing only a clothed HJ these days and will only do minimum $50 for nude. Many of younger ones that do clothed HJ ask for $30+. $50 for a clothed HJ is outrageous but some guys pay so the girls know they can get away with it.
$100 or more for FS means you are paying total about $140+ for 30min FS in a massage shop which is more or similar to what you pay just going to FS shop.

A lot of guys on here don't seem to realise there are shops where the hj is included.

If he only paid $70 for 1 hour then of course he would expect the hj to cost extra but if he paid $130 then it would be fair to assume nude hj was included.

A shop in Melbourne tried to charge

$50 is the norm for a HJ these days mate, I'm guessing that was OP's first session? What you paid for the massage was just the "base rate", if you don't opt for any extras you will most likely be blacklisted (assuming it's a Rnt shop), there are some shops where the "base rate" is higher (e.g. 90/30, 110/45, 130/60), these already include HJ, nude etc, if you want more extras like BJ or FS you pay on top of that, but I'm pretty sure that's not the shop you visited because otherwise the ML wouldn't ask for the $50 tip for HJ, case closed.

Next time I go to a restaurant I will expect the wine to be included in the price of the meal.

Every massage place I’ve been to the girl discusses the extras first and in most cases they want to be paid before they start the HJ or get naked. I have to jump off the table and give them the $50 or more.

Well, as others have pointed out, we really need the OP to say what initial room fee he paid.
If the room fee was $70 then an additional $50 for NHJ would be standard and the girl could well expect that the OP understood that.

I guess the OP has already hinted the upfront fee he paid with his silence, after so many voices suggesting that $50 is totally justifiable if only $70 was paid on entering the shop.

One of the reasons most places ask you when you arrive is “have you been here before”. The question is not to offer you special treatment because you are a new customer but you will be nervous and how they can get away by introducing girls that are perhaps not that busy. Usually they could also ask when you arrive and say you have a booking. They ask you if you have seen her before and it could happen they switch the file if she has multiple bookings.

Same in this case the ML just took it on herself to assume the OP want a happy ending and why bother asking and going through extras. More than likely I would have stopped her unless she was good sort. Agreed with the other guys that it’s extra. You guys do realise how little the ML gets paid from the base rate don't you.
It varies a little from shop to shop but generally if the hour is $70 the ML gets about $20 and as little as $5 for the Half hour. In the NHJ inclusive shops ($130 p/h) they get most of that extra $50 so they at least make a guaranteed $70 or so per hour without having to sell themselves in the room.

So show some respect and treat these wonderful ladies better.

An extra $50 - $100 as a show of gratitude for their work is the minimum I would give, whether I get any extra service or not. Honestly.
I do not ever go for a HJ so I often just take the nudity and tease and thank the young lady for seeing me. Other times I get the whole shebang.
Every lady is different and some are not worth the tip but do not judge them all by the lowest standard.

when the extras question comes up, I always ask upfront if the girl would get fully stripped off and allow touching, if not, I just say no and stick to a normal massage.

some would hem and haw, trying to keep something on or charge more for taking off the panties or touching, the moment this happens, I just say "gotcha, no extras then".

To be totally frank with you, it is very naive to expect to pay just $70 for a one-hour massage plus a HJ.
Next time a girl touches your dick without discussing prices, ask her to stop and say "can we agree on what is going to happen before you proceed, please?"
To be fair to the girl, she probably sees every man coming for a massage handing over $50 at the end after they get their rocks off.

There is no free lunch in this world. Hard to believe you simply laid back and enjoyed the hand job to the end, and seriously thought this is just a $70 deal.
