Yea I know what you mean about the connection part. They are there to work and with work it always comes with slacking. It's human natural. The girls out there aren't really making building a connection as a priority of their job. I usually barely make any connections with the WLs. While some are easier to talk to and some are smart and funny, but most just want to get you out. The only one I really felt a connection with, well, we all know where that led me, so I'm not setting a good example lol. I would say 98% of them would really just want you to get in and get out. I'm sure you know that too given that you've been punting a lot longer than I have. So I guess don't give up, keep punting until you find your next regular.

Exactly. No need to give up you can just stop ? Personally having a bad run of punts so will put me off for weeks at least but will be back. I notice people talk of retirement lol .. is this a FT job ? I guess some ppl know the rosters better than their own work diary !

Ugly women and poor value would cause me to give up. Sydney gets close sometimes. I tend to take a break or try a new burb

I suppose if that happens in Sydney then lots more punters will be heading interstate, and if similar there they’ll just go to the south East Asian countries. My mate does this every few months and tells his missus it’s for business. Worked so far every time.

The good thing with me is that I'm not really an "emotional" punter, I think I'm lucky in that regard, the emotional connection so many talk about I don't really care much for that, in fact it's quite the opposite for me lol (more physical and tactile), although I do appreciate a good "chemistry" with the WL/ML, that's the right word for me, but if it's not there then so be it, a pussy is a pussy for me haha, as long as I find her somewhat attractive and she doesn't turn me off.

Also I think "give up" is probably not the right word to use, maybe "taking a break" is the more appropriate word to use in this market/economy for me, IF it ever comes down to that lol...

That sucks man. I’m still trying but finding it difficult to even get a booking. I only punt late nights and the lower end shops I target attract lots of punters in this economy. Plus the women there are very average at best so even when they’re available, I shudder to part with $170 for the hour.

You forget that punters can also shift gears
Some punters here are obviously still in 4th gear with frequent expensive punting

I have slowed down to first gear due to rent going up $120/week
I was in third gear last year

I have tried a lot of different things to stop and nothing has worked. Going out with friends, new hobbies, seeing family more, dating (some worked, some failed) etc. All it takes to see a hot Chinese or Japanese chick walk past and within a hour, I'll be at a shop.
