There are many versions of the Lunar Calendar, they all have different dates for celebration of festivals, including the Muslims and the Jews. This New Year date was first adopted by the ancient Chinese, then followed by the neighbouring countries in the region, so it’s not wrong that the Chinese call this Chinese New Year.
