I guess it depends on how motivated they are. There are times when they don't have customers. They could have read a book instead of swiping the phones. They could have watched English movies with subtitles instead of Chinese shows.
There'll a will there'll a way. Most probably those MLs are making more money than me. A regular ML told me she spent $500 for each hair dressing session. They have off days. Instead of attending English lessons they spend the time shopping for brand luxury products or in the casinos.
I know C Kiki ex-Ginza was quite studious. There was one time she went to class and totally forgot she was rostered on! She found out I was the sucker left holding my dick for 40 mins while the shop sorted it out, gave me a hell of a great time when I finally saw her again!
K Kiki ex-Ginza / K Lily ex-5-star was also quite studious, actually attended classes.
