A hand job is a $50 extra?

Next time I go to a restaurant I will expect the wine to be included in the price of the meal.

Every massage place I’ve been to the girl discusses the extras first and in most cases they want to be paid before they start the HJ or get naked. I have to jump off the table and give them the $50 or more.
The ones that charge around $130-$150 per hour have HJ included in the price.

But you can’t get HJ with a 1 hour massage if you’re paying $80 or $90.

I never at any point said anything about extras and the HJ was done without asking. She just did it assuming that I would pay $50 for it. The only discussion of an extra was when she offered a BJ for $100 which I declined.

It's fair enough if a HJ is an extra and costs $50 but I wasn't given a choice nor was I told what it would cost. If she said it would be $50 I would have declined. I did take in an extra $50 with for the use of an extra but I didn't particularly enjoy the girl and she was on her period so I didn't intend on having any extras.

Well, as others have pointed out, we really need the OP to say what initial room fee he paid.
If the room fee was $70 then an additional $50 for NHJ would be standard and the girl could well expect that the OP understood that.
If he paid $130 and she asked extra for NHJ then she's just trying it on.

I guess the OP has already hinted the upfront fee he paid with his silence, after so many voices suggesting that $50 is totally justifiable if only $70 was paid on entering the shop.

One of the reasons most places ask you when you arrive is “have you been here before”. The question is not to offer you special treatment because you are a new customer but you will be nervous and how they can get away by introducing girls that are perhaps not that busy. Usually they could also ask when you arrive and say you have a booking. They ask you if you have seen her before and it could happen they switch the file if she has multiple bookings.

Same in this case the ML just took it on herself to assume the OP want a happy ending and why bother asking and going through extras. More than likely I would have stopped her unless she was good sort. Agreed with the other guys that it’s extra. But for someone like me who don’t go to massage places often only remembers $20 for hj, $50 for nhj and $100 for body slides and hj and so on. If she charged $50 without allowing and touching or play it may not be the best deal

You guys do realise how little the ML gets paid from the base rate don't you.
It varies a little from shop to shop but generally if the hour is $70 the ML gets about $20 and as little as $5 for the Half hour. In the NHJ inclusive shops ($130 p/h) they get most of that extra $50 so they at least make a guaranteed $70 or so per hour without having to sell themselves in the room.

So show some respect and treat these wonderful ladies better.

An extra $50 - $100 as a show of gratitude for their work is the minimum I would give, whether I get any extra service or not. Honestly.
I do not ever go for a HJ so I often just take the nudity and tease and thank the young lady for seeing me. Other times I get the whole shebang.
Every lady is different and some are not worth the tip but do not judge them all by the lowest standard.

when the extras question comes up, I always ask upfront if the girl would get fully stripped off and allow touching, if not, I just say no and stick to a normal massage.

some would hem and haw, trying to keep something on or charge more for taking off the panties or touching, the moment this happens, I just say "gotcha, no extras then".

To be totally frank with you, it is very naive to expect to pay just $70 for a one-hour massage plus a HJ.

In this situation, I can't help wondering did you know it was a R&T shop when you walked in, or were you expecting a legit massage only?
The first time I visited 2 Pope St at Ryde the ML asked me if I'd been there previously and when I said no, asked me was I aware of what type of massage service they offered.
Apparently some customers walk into these shops thinking they're going to get a therapeutic massage and then get all offended when the girl's hand slips between their legs!!

Bro, some of the RNT girls are so skilled at massage, they can put legit shops to shame. A recent one that springs to mind is T Milin of SBM, but I've come across quite a few more in the past.

I like strong massages from a "sure hand", meaning they can apply strength but they do not "shudder" like some others do.
