Kept thinking I could never live without you by my side
But then I spent so many nights thinking how you did me wrong
And I grew strong
And I learned how to get along... keep it coming haha lol

I'm just a regular dude coming from a third world country, trying to make it here in Aus. I lost my mom not a long time ago, she succumbed to cancer. I got excited about moving here in Sydney, new life, new friends, new outlook in life. I don't care about the number of posts or whatever. I don't intend to make any of this a living. I just want to buy me some time. relieved my self from missing my mother, and some close relatives back at home. I thought to connect to anyone who is willing and kind enough to banter with me. hey, sorry if I didn't meet your expectations as a newbie, I thought this forum welcomes newbies like me.
I have not really encountered a solid paranormal experience but I would love to experience a succubus.
This is a typical response of someone who’s more than a Forum Nazi, but an arsehole too, no one needs to justify themselves to be on this forum, no one has the right to judge others as Everyone is welcome, either if they are a lurker or a member.
I was a member of the old site before it switched over to this site in 2012 and have been punting since 2000, so that’s over 24 years punting experience locally and internationally that’s makes me more than just qualified, it makes me a Punting God with Zero STIs and 1000s of punts to his wallet, that’s my credibility.
Even if you have only punted only a few times and have joined this forum to be part of a community that is not really favourable in the general public, you are always welcome and don’t let a donkey with an ego problem deter you from posting,
Allright I’ll tell you a story. It is real.
In 2014 I flew up to Cairns to attend a school mate’s wedding. Caught up with another friend and his girl and we stayed in a cheap motel. Separate rooms of course. Their room and mine were adjacent and separated by a door, so we could walk to and from each other rooms.
Anyway, that night we got the sack and I slept until about 3am I was awaken in an instant split second by the sound of tapping on the window. It was like the most elegant lady tapping gently on my window with her finely manicured long nails. That’s the closest I can explain. I didn’t see or feel anything but I was totally fully awake in an instant.
Didn’t think much of it and tried to go back to sleep. Eventually did and slept fine. Next morning told my mate and he laughed it off. Thereafter we visited my mate (the one getting married) parents and I told them and the father immediately remarked “visitors”. He didn’t elaborate more.
After the wedding and end of day we returned later that night back to the motel and eventually I tried to sleep but the room felt bit weird. Like it was watching me back. Also, on and off there was a smell that lingered like the sewer or a foul drain.
Nothing happened that night and the next day my friends left and I stayed the afternoon as I had work to do. The room felt nice and cool in the hot summer but I felt uneasy there, constantly looking over my shoulder around every now and then while working on the computer.
PS: I didn’t even browse porn or jerk off as I normally do :)
This may be the explanation of your nick.
Over the years I have had many bad dreams despite I have several Chinese charms and Buddha trinkets inside the pillow I sleep on.
One day I bought a long Japanese sword from Paddy Market for the fun of it.
For want of a space to put it I leaned it against my bed and I found I had very few bad dreams after that. I continued to keep it beside my bed until today.
Unless you experience something paranormal then you won’t believe.
I wouldn’t expect anyone to either.
Banter is in the eye of the beholder. This is banter. No explanations needed, no apologies needed. You disagree with a post, don't apologize, just make your case (or not). Don't take to heart everything you read on the net; take everything with a large grain of salt. Yours is a sad story, but that's life. Look on the bright side: you're here, any number of people aren't. Bit of advice - forum friends are no replacement for the real thing - just ask your forum friends to come over and help you move a piano... Don't confuse punting with real relationships, punting is just P4P sex, nothing more. Don't let any melancholy get you down. As we say, "Two tears in a bucket, if that don't fill it, motherf*ck it".
MY experience, punting here is expensive, the advantage is there is a variety of nationalities to choose from. Post your experiences and lessons learned, contribute (or not, but contributing helps you engage). Follow the user guide, read for actionable intel here, and you'll have more good punts than bad. And even a bad punt makes a good war story; that's the difference between a fairy tale and a war story. A fairy tale starts out "Once upon a time"'; a war story starts out "Shit, I was there".'
Good luck.
For people that want to try to see ghosts, take the Q station ghost tour. Being suggestable helps, I'm not, but interesting to see the facilities by night, especially if it's a full moon.
You can't see the hypocrisy: everybody is welcome as long as they have the PC opinion. Fine, you have your viewpoints, I have mine, BOTH equally valid here, at least for me. I'm just not a kumbaya type of person, not everyone gets a medal for showing up. I'm more of a Professor Kingsfield type. I call them like I see them as you too are free to do. I don't have a problem with that. EVERYONE has the right to judge others whether or not their opinions mesh.
My condolences Junior; missing BKK in the prime of the '90s... Now those are the memories... Berlin in the '80... USD king... per diem covered so many expenses and no ER's required... You might consider yourself a god, but, to me, it's with a small "g". My view. I'm just old, but with age comes experience. And I'm sure that somewhere around here a few members can talk about the 60's and 70's.
Mai-mee-pan-ha. Cheers.
I’ve had “something” pull my leg while I’m in bed and I wake up from it and I’m half off the bed. I just wrote it off like it was a bad dream or something… I’d rather not think about it..
A guy a work said it happened to him too and he also got a hand shaped bruise on his waist for a month from it, I just said “can we talk about something else now…”
They say the 5 natural human senses ie sight, hearing, touch, smell, taste and touch can transcend beyond the physical realm and venture into the supernatural realm. Some people who transcend to the spiritual team claim to see things, hear strange sounds, being touched by something, smelling pungent aromas etc aka the movie the sixth sense. Certain cultures, transcendental meditation, wicca, chanting, psychedelic drugs and music etc are all mediums people use to reach out the supernatural. Do I believe all this shit....The jury is out on this one
I did get to meet a real life exorcist when I was in Rome a few years back (a mix between Constantine and a priest). The bloke was weird and had a dark aura about him, his glance was dark and when he stared at me he gave me an uneasy feeling. Maybe I was being exorcised....?
The "Roman Ritual" is apparently the Vatican's exorcism manual.
I won't confirm or deny things that have happened to me suffice to say however they've been pretty fucking creepy & unexplainable.
"There are greater things in heaven & Earth that are dreamed of in your philosophy Horatio"
I saw an ad for a lard arse fatty W/L charging 600 dollars per hour, that was unexplainable as well. :P
He said the movie exorcist was based on real life events from a book called 'Begone Satan'
The Catholics call it exorcism and the Protestant's call it deliverance. He went on to say that children and animals are more receptive to the supernatural ie their senses haven't been adulterated and conditioned by society. He did say that people with multiple personalities have spirits inside them (ie ghosts of dead people) and is the reason why some serial killers always say that a voice told them to do it. My mate who is a psychiatrist reckons it's all bs but cannot offer a decent or plausible explanation for any of the above. When I was in Brazil i saw a macumba ritual and that is next level shit!
Speaking of paranormal activities, there was a recent news about an older married couple that appeared to be happily living their lives together, they go on a camping trip with friends and the wife inexplicably kills him right in front of everyone with a knife:

She says she can't remember a thing. Does this sound like a case of possession to you?
Fuck bro, that's freaky stuff.
I once read that pets that unexpectedly and violently attack their owners were most likely possessed by the wondering ghost/spirit of a dead person. It gives the movie Fallen with Denzel Washington a new light.
Anyway this article alludes to the fact that animals have a sixth sense....

Multiple personality disorder, or Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) as it is now known, is triggered by a traumatic event, usially sexual or physical abuse. Yes when the person is suffering an episode it causes memory loss, and delusions.. Having lived with someone for a short time who was a sufferer there is nothing paranormal about it, therapy reduces the frequency of the switches. Having seen a switch, and then later discussed the switch with the person, again, nothing paranormal about it. They were going through a difficult time and lost control. The alter was a female while the person was a male, they were abused as a child and the switch would detach them from the trauma. It is true that the alters "communicate" with the host, often the alter is protective (of course, ot appeared during a traumatic experience) and can lead to cases of paranoia.
Anyway. That's multiple personalities in a nutshell. We were fed a lot of bullshit previously that schizophrenia was DID and so on, not helped by Hollywood of course. Totally separate conditions. Schizophrenia yes has delusions, but it's an altered experience of reality, that can be coupled with hallucinations. Again, very few people with either of these are violent, but yes it can happen that the delusions or hallucinations cause them to act aggressive or violent.

Sorry it's an anime though
What makes this incident even more perplexing is the background of the couple involved. Ilknur Caliskan and her husband, Serdar, had been married for a quarter of a century, seemingly portraying a content and happy life together. Their recent return from an overseas trip to Turkey, a mere two weeks before the camping trip turned tragic, further complicates the narrative. The stark contrast between their seemingly blissful life and this horrifying event has left the community in shock and mourning, trying to make sense of this inexplicable tragedy. creepy!
The interesting thing is his own family didn't know, they thought he was neuro-divergent, and he of course wanted to keep it to himself. I won't lie, realising I was talking to the alter did raise the hairs on the neck a little, but "she" was really nice, and it wasn't long after "he" returned. He had no recollection of the switch. Total amnesia.
