Another vote for Malay Chinese laksa as well - I first went there 20+ years ago when it was underground on Castlereagh Street. Always consistently good.

Tried mensho after noticing long queues for it when it first opened. Terrible. First sign of trouble was when I saw the customer seated next to me at the bar didn't finish even half of his bowl when he left. I barely finished mine too. Not a single item on their menu is actually any authentic ramen dish. This place is not a ramen restaurant, it's just another "fusion" restaurant that serves mostly ramen.Quote:
