Not really, VPNs are quick! Most VPNs allow you to pick the location of the proxy server. For example, if you want to watch pornhub, just pick a server in NZ or Singapore and it'll be fine. You won't notice the slow down at all.Quote:

Most porn sites are now working with age verification companies to verify the age of users logging on to them. The usual age verification methods used by these companies are either your email address, a selfy which looks old enough,, or various types of apps. I tried to verify my age with Xhamster using my email address, but it was not accepted as I have only been using my present one for the last 10 years, so presumably the software used by the verification company assessed me as being only 10 years old. I then tried a selfy of my 79-year-old face, which definitely looks its age, but that was also rejected (too ugly?)
I went to xhamster via Canada (courtesy of Proton VPN) and zero age verification requests.
