I don't think you need to worry too much at all!

Hornsby 142 is a local FS shop and it's target audiences are primarily local punters, so city, south or people from the west are unlikely to visit the shop anyway. Just like people from Hornsby are unlikely to visit 45 or 22 either, but then again, it's always good to know what's where right ?? So what you done is good for the north shore punters that's for sure !!

thanks AHLUNGOR, for your comments. But I reckon, the punting market in Sydney is a little more sophisticated than what you say. Yes, you are correct that 142 is a local FS shop so its main clientele would be in far northern suburbs and the Hills district (there ain't much in the Hills and Pennant Hills road is pretty direct).

But, it seems to me that a geographical breakdown of punting in Sydney is only part of the story. I reckon brothels are competing for specific demographics, irrespective of where they actually are. Consider my own case.

I live in the Eastern Suburbs. I have been punting for over 30 years and know exactly what I am looking for in a brothel. If I want a young spunk then there are obvious local options. 5 Star and Ginza spring immediately to mind. If I am after something a little cheaper, with slightly older women, then there is a plethora of choices. But I have been spoilt now in Sydney. Sometimes I want variety, so roam far and wide in search of a good exotic punt. I've been way out west in search of an Indian or black WL, or some young Vietnamese lovely. But most of the time, I just want a safe, familiar punt. I used to get these at the old CBDoubles, then Tokyo Cats (Ginza really is not a replacement). Then I found 533, 64, 130 were all good replacements. And they are. Nothing wrong with any of these shops. Great value with good-looking women. But you see, i am willing to travel to a brothel that I know will give me a certain level of service. I suspect i am far from alone. A significant proportion of the business at all these brothels would come from non-locals.

Now, I am willing to go all the way up to Hornsby because I value that extra level of service I get from 142. Its purely their mamasan and her assistant. Amanda is such a tease - she has every man in Sydney lusting after her and remains determinedly cheery. And Mina is as skilful a procurer as ever there was. Again, I know I am not alone in making the trip just because of the atmosphere of the brothel. My budget only allows me one or two punts a week. I find I get best value from making such a trip.

So, my argument is that market segregation is beyond just local geography. There is a Sydney-wide market that brothels are competing for. Its not just the expensive ones: you must concede that punters from all over Sydney make the effort to go to Ginza. This also occurs at the mid-range. It seems to me that a lot of the trolling that goes on in this forum - both the subtle and overt attacks on successful brothels - are from businesses that are not getting their slice of that broader market.

A few good points there brother and good on you for having that freedom and flexibility in terms of time to travel and in fact time out that you don't have to be at home !!

I certainly don't have that luxury so my punting shops are rather limited to City CBD and places closed by - Saturdays I have more freedom but that is still limited to places on route to and from home, so to take long road detour is not possible !! I so wish I could go to Stanmore every week and perhaps Mimi every fortnightly and Mia at Pennant Hills Road at least once a month !! Nothing wrong with SL, SF, QVB and 316 and all that, but talking about all times favourites ..................haha

Keep up with the good works mate, and just do your thing, I have enough enemies in this forum I don't even care to remember (a lot more friends though!), but eventually I think I outlasted most of them anyway.
