It's gonna be a tense game.
On paper we are a better team than Syria but were a much better team than Thailand to and we only scraped a draw away and a close win at home.
BTW Timmy was in the starting 11 against Thailand in Melbourne.
Unfortunately he hit the post at the 4th minute.
We need to improve on recent performances; we need to put away our chances and we need to tighten up in defence.
I don't think Ange is the man for the job but we are stuck with him now.
Super coach Carlo Ancelotti just got sacked by Bayern Munich so maybe billionaire Frank Lowy can fork out a few $Million to bring him down here. ;)

Yeah Juric hit the post twice against Syria.
And we hit the post 2 or 3 times against Thailand.
We have been unlucky.
But we were also lucky not to cop more goals against Syria.
They really had us under the pump in the second half.
We should be OK at home against Syria.
Then we have to face probably Panama.
It's still a long way to Russia 2018.

Honduras are going to be hard to compete with over there. Lucky the roos are pretty battle hardend playing so many games in the middle east. It's another world in honduras

So many chances ?

If it would have been a soft track then Chautauqua is a good thing and She will reign for the Q!

On a dry track , I'm leaning towards the two Haynes Horses in Vega Magic and Redkirk Warrior .

But you can probably make a case for another half a dozen chances .

Where is Black Caviar ? This is the race she deserves to run in and win !

Thanks Ahlungor, I did back them both, so I am pretty happy. I also got the quinella.
In the form, I noticed that Brave Smash (Jpn) finished within half a length of Vega Magic at its last start. I had it in the Q, but didn't take the Tri. Still a good day!

Yes, I backed many of David Haynes horses on Sat and most of them didn't win, the one win he had I wasn't on.

Could have been on three winners if I back Darren Weir !
