The entire punting and rub 'n tug scene is in desperate need of an overhaul. The current modus operandi has become stale, predictable and is riddled with risks and opportunistic agendas. Whilst we can all appreciate the pros and cons of paying before or paying after the service, both methods come with their own set of issues and risks for punter and provider - simply put the system is fucked, the system is broken, it’s flawed, outdated, and in need of serious reform.
Why can't you fucken pay 50% upfront and the remaining 50% after the service has been delivered - a best of both worlds approach.
How about a get now pay later, or a lay-by credit system - it might work but it would need some serious thought, planning and control mechanisms to make the shit work; regardless of the aforementioned something needs to be done as this shit ain't fucken sustainable in the long run.
