Playing Diablo 4 last night… I can’t be bothered to finish it… got boring real quick after the opening act..
I plays heaps of teamfight tactics
Born in 1980 and been on and off games for decades - i get bored easily :P
Currently back on the PC playing a more 'realistic' shooter called Hell Let Loose .. definitely no running around fortnight style in this game ... it's hard and you have to play patiently.
dota 4 lyf haha
Not that anyone asked or anything but I can comfortably say I can beat anyone here in a Halo 1v1, any of the games doesn't matter if you are an old-head or a new mechanics guy :)
Playing Final Fantasy 16 last night. Combat has got real boring…
I think FF7 Remake (part 1) was better…
Super smash bros melee will always be my number 1 game. Over 20 years old and the competitive scene is stronger than ever.
Never saw the appeal of Smash despite being a hardcore fighting game fan back in the day.
Might have to give it a try when I got time, have a Ninty emulator I can use.
Which version/year whatever is considered the best, and good pickup character for someone new?
The appeal was sitting down with your friends/siblings and getting Nintendo characters to beat the shit out of each other lmao
I personally think melee is the best in the series. It has the most in depth mechanics and the player skill level just keeps on getting higher.
You can maybe look at marth or shiek gameplay and see if you like it. Your username is also the most popular character in the game lol
I think that's why I didn't particularly latch on.
The game felt/looked like just a friend's muck around game for parties and not serious deep fighter.
It's sort of the same reason I don't really like the MK series as an FG, seems sort of shallow. Love the lore and universe though.
I'll try and stick on some SSB this weekend and try.
Cheers
Resident Evil 4 remake on PS5.
“Where’s everyone going? Bingo?”
Started with C64, then amiga, mega drive, win 95 pc, then mix of pc and ps2, then ps3 and now ps4 with some pc gaming.
Remember trying emulation for the first time in the early 2000s and finally being able to finish some old games I never could due to save feature and the joys of walkthroughs.
Revisited emulation during lockdown via retroarch and got to revisit some classics such as MK trilogy, marvel super hero's and other arcade classics.
Don't have much time to game these days and tend to watch gamers on youtube. Currently watching theradbrad play God of war Ragnarök
Dying Light 2 on PS5 at the moment
Struggle at the moment to find the time and motivation to game like I used to. Last game I was big into was Starcraft II and that was years ago at this point! Gaming comes and goes for me so I'm sure I'll play some of the newer big ones at some point in the next year.
