I would think that the operators for these businesses already own that building. All they would have to do is pay for is land taxes and utilities.

The would have made millions over the years that they have been operating. Also these shops are tourist traps with all the flashing lights and pubs all around them. it's easy to pick off drunk dudes off the street.

All those points could apply to a shop with nice girls as much as it could apply to a shop with oldy pork chops.

Ok, they might have an early starter advantage and bought their buildings when they were still cheap, but how does that make them need to be mediocre? Nobody's holding a gun to the owner's head demanding "right, you have the building equity, your costs are low, so now you must not strive to be the best brothel out there with great girls". Still don't see any correlation.

EDIT: I used to assume that the reason was a lot of the younger hotter girls also lived in the city, so they didn't want to be spotted working in a shop near where they lived. But recent shops like CBD Style and to some extent Fireflies, blew this theory out of the water. They proved that getting hot girls in shops in the city was now possible, maybe because COL has forced many of the girls to now live in the burbs so they are now more willing to work in city shops.
Yet those new shops keep biting the dust and the true shit holes remain.

I just posted an AR. Not a great experience. The 3 WLs in line up were not on the roster. The roster doesn’t have times so I assume this might be a late night place but I won’t be going back to find out.
