How much have you spent on punting so far in 2024?

It's getting less. 2022 was crazy - about $10k. 2023 about $2k. This year so far around $1k.

About $4200 over 3 months
More than last year.

The amount of money spent is irrelevant, it’s what it gets you that is important.

Most guy’s wives, GF’s or partners would never want to do or be able to do what sex workers can. They’d never look hot when they’re naked. They’d never ride their guy to completion and then back up for seconds or thirds just to keep him satisfied. They’d never do threesomes or worship the guy like a paid sex worker does. Even if it is fake it’s the illusion that matters, the experience, the sex worker has sold the dream, let’s see a wife, GF or partner sell the dream when her guy wants it. Sometimes it just doesn’t happen.

Any guy who is getting great sex at home has no need to punt.

Guys who are stuck in dead end relationships spend more than a punt every month just living in that existence. Now compare that to punting expenditure.

I’d say a lot of guys need to make better life choices…

Now that interaction takes all of one minute after the shower. We all know why we are there and anything else is frivolous as far as I’m concerned. It’s not even about a waste of time or money, it’s just beating around the bush, their bush.

Not sure why some have to analise the shite out of what one spends in some of the posts. But to be honest I have a very healthly relationship and sex life with my partner of 20 years, and "NO" I'm not going to work out how much I've spent over the years. But the reason why I punt is that I like the variety (women that is) without sleeping around and developing another relationship, which from seeing the experience of others os pretty damaging. Punting for me is all transactional and about my pleasure alone. I guess I can blame one of my uncles from the days of old from taking me to a place called Club Volvo HK, now that was a place one has to experience.

The last line was a hook, you should have known better, perhaps not. I had a few minutes free up my sleeve and thought I’d log in and post. Any more free time and I’d have been punting. There are two shops on the radar and I’ll be visiting them later this week. Punting is a distraction, generates no income and costs time. Time is money and that’s all that matters, hence no time for reading books on talking to prostitutes.

I try to limit my punting to once a week or fortnight so I'm doing about $11k a year which now that i look back is a lot of money especially once you count the number of years you've been at it!! just trying not to think about what i could've done with all that money otherwise :(

Yep Andrew , after only recently starting punting again and with a vengence this year. Was curious even before this thread started how much I was spending . Last year was a bit of a so so time but the beginning of this year I ran hot . As mentioned before I*m in my mid 60s , still fit slim , youngish looking and single and spending a combination of savings , redundancy , super , investments , term deposits and compo . Have had to budget lately , as not so much spending too much but didn*t need the lavish hotels for outcalls to set the mood and tend to do incalls as I get on well with the regulars (hotels separately came in at just around 14K from Meriton World Tower Penthouse to Pullman at Cirular Quay and Crown Hotel Barrangaroo) .. life is good ! Forgot to mention , I usually punt 2 - 3 times a week mainly 2 hour sessions with WLs, 1 hour just goes too quick except for massages

Wow that is definitely a sizeable amount of spend in a year. Having said that - sounds like you had a great time.

I’ve heard and seen people spend a lot more on a different type of punting (gambling…)
