Yes, it is their job and they are there to make money. However, it is possible to sometimes have a good day at the office. I personally don't really care what a WL thinks of me, as I don't want to get attached, but if you want to be liked, you can do the following:
1. Make sure you are clean and well-groomed. Brush your teeth, cut your nails. Wash your hands thoroughly in the shower as the first thing you do.
2. Try not to be fat. Losing weight isn't actually that hard, it just takes discipline. Consume less calories than you burn, it's as simple as that. You don't need to look like Chris Hemsworth, but you can't look like Jack Black. You'll probably live longer, too.
3. Dress nicely. Your clothes should be laundered and should fit you. You don't need to go overboard though.
4. Be kind, generous, and listen.
5. Start gentle. While some girls out there like it rough, it's much more rare in shops, where a girl has to do it so many times in a week.
I am no longer young, but I think I am relatively handsome. I have had friendships with some WL in the past, ranging from casual pub meals after work, to weekend getaways (without charge). This illustrates that not all of them see customers in such a negative light.
