I agree with wilisno. The fact of the matter is that if yourself and a WL end up in a room together then you’ve both agreed and taken on the inherent risk.

You as punter accepts that the WL or the brothel or the room could of been frequented by someone that could be infected and likewise the WL accepts the risk of a punter who might be. If you’re scared then don’t punt or don’t work as a WL in this current time. My guess is the student was ok until she decided to spend 14 days in the middle east and probably caught it days before she flew in to Brisbane. Thus she presented symptoms the next day at the hospital.

I'm not surprised this is happening. There will be many cases out there. The universities are advising their foreign students how to get around the Australian travel ban that is, don't fly directly from China and stop over in a country like Thailand. The Australian Government has done nothing about closing down this loophole in the travel ban which is being exploited by some travellers.

At the same time, the western shops are currently doing well because some punters don't want to take any risk of catching the virus from girls that have been in China and returned via Thailand.

Who will report this? It will require immediate closure of business since the infected girl would have been in close contact with other workers. For the shop, 14 days with no customers and no money. The biggest part is the punter. Given the reluctance of punters to actually own up they have been to RNT or Brothel, shops and Ml/WL will go undetected. Which is kind of dangerous. Having said that i don't think it is more risk than you travel on a packed train or bus.

Stopping at another country is stupid, they'll just go out and party with MORE people and up their chances of actually catching the virus. Didn't this happen to someone who "isolated" in Dubai?
