I think Aussie will get over 550, Clarke 137 not out great inning.

4 for 434 at lunch !!
I think Clarkey and Watson will up the run rate after lunch and get to 500 ASAP then send the Proteas in, SA will be playing for a draw but Clarke wants to win this !!
If Haddin gets to bat this afternoon, watch him race to 50 in no times or gets out in single figure again !!
Go Aussie !!
Great knock by Clarke but looks like the rain will save SA.
Weather for the next three days all good, should be enough time to take 20 wickets to win the series!
The Proteas will play for a draw!
I think Clarkey will still want to bat on and get to 500+ then declare and send SA in about 20 overs before lunch and if the boys can get a few early wickets , we will be in a winning position !
Go Aussie!
They had a bit of trouble getting the covers on with the wind and rain so it may be smarter to declare and have a bowl while there may be a bit of moisture in the wicket, if we bat on we give any moisture that got on the wicket time to dry out!Quote:

Best thing to do is have a look at the wicket and see what it looks like then decide!
3 for 89 so a good start we need to go on with it and get a couple more wickets.
4 for 121 !
4 early wicket before lunch, a great start !
Should give Nathan Lyon a few overs before lunch as the ball is swinging a bit now !
Go Aussie!
6 for 200 at tea
The Aussies are in a commanding position, lets bowl them out today and put Warner & the boys back on and take the lead to 500 !
Go Aussie !
All out 287 and Australia 0 for 27 in second innings, we need around 200 to 250 more runs and then put them in just before tea and bowl them out again.
Yeap, that's the plan, and we should get 200 - 250 very quickly !
And I think Warner will accelerate the run rate tomorrow, and since Watson & Clarkey are both in good touch, they should bat at no. 3 & 4 tomorrow and really put the Proteas to the sword !! Doolan is too slow a starter and he may waste too many overs before he gets going !!
To declare 10 overs before Tea and game on !!
Go Aussie !!
Oi, Oi, Oi,
:shout::shout::shout::shout:
I had my doubts about the bowling attack before this test.
Hope Harris gets past 100 wickets. This might be his last test since he will have surgery after this series
1 for 123 Rogers run out Warner still there on 75 so we are going OK
The lead is 510 at declaration !
Then Graeme Smith ended his test career not in the manner he wishes to go out! However, his timing is good at least he goes out on his own terms rather than getting a tap at the back because of his poor forms throughout the whole series !
3 for 15 at tea, we should go on from here !!
Go Aussie !!
4 for 71 at Stumps !
The lead is 440 !
South Africa can't win, can they survive 90 overs with six wickets !!
De Villiers is very clear what he is doing - bloody 16 runs in 100 balls !!
Can Michael Clarke and the boys get 6 more wickets before coming back home as winners and world no 2 ??
Six wickets we should be able to do it! Come on Aussie!
I think the go slow when doolan came in was a mistake. AB and then Faf when he comes in are the 2 best stonewallers in the game. Then we still have duminy after that. It'll be a close run thing with Harris's knee deteriorating by the minute.

How good is that ??
To beat England 5-0 at home after losing 3-0 in England was a fantastic effort and turn around.
But to beat the number 1 test team South Africa at home is adsolutely amazing !
Can't remember when was the last time the Proteas got beaten at home?
And they have the no. 1 and no. 2 batsman in the world in AB de Villiers and Amla (Clarke is 9 and Warner at 10!)
Together with the no. 1 and no. 2 bowlers in the world in Steyn and Philander (Johnson at 3 and Harris at 4 and Siddle at 10!)
What a summer of Cricket for Michael Clarke and his team. Unbeaten at home for 5 tests and 4 ODI's.
And the Australian team has also ended the career of two of the great Graemes in Swann and Smith.
South Africa will be in a stage of rebuilding after losing Kallis and Smith, apparently the entire current SA test team have only ever been under one captain and that's Smith.
As the title suggested, test cricket is absolutely alive and it is the purest form of the game and only the best will do !!
Lungor signing off for now !!
ps. one last word, while it was so frustrating to wait 135 overs for the Aussies to bowl SA out and the final two hours was starting to look favouring the Proteas to get an unlike draw, we should all learn some important lesson from the SA, how to protect their wickets and ground out a draw, if our batsmen could have done that, we would be a better team !
Great work Aussies a well deserved win!
A lot of credit should go to bowling coach Craig Mcdermott along with the bowling attack. They found the way to reverse the natural swing needed to get wickets on flat tracks. Mitch hammering the ball on the non shining side with his slinging action certainly helped. They sure left it to near the end though geez, I was thinking good lord I should have went to bed earlier than waste my time watching a draw haha
