Porn star turned novelist Sasha Grey talks sex with Sunday Style
http://resources1.news.com.au/images...sasha-grey.jpg
SASHA Grey admits she can feel shy about asking for what she wants during sex.
This is a woman who has starred in more than 200 adult films, and who, at 18, in her first shoot, went off-script and requested her Italian co-star, Rocco Siffredi, become even more extreme during one scene.
“Even women who really are confident in their sexuality, or know what they like, we’re still sort of submissive in the sense that we always want the man to make the first move.
"And when you find a partner you match with sexually, you often let the man take the lead and then that becomes dangerous, because it [gets] repetitive,” she explains.

Prostitution Thriving In China: The Dark Underbelly of Economic Prosperity
Officially illegal since the 1949 Communist takeover, prostitution is nonetheless a widespread, mostly underground, industry in China.
Perhaps no other Chinese city is more closely associated with the world’s oldest profession than Dongguan in the Pearl River Delta, located at the vast country’s southeastern corner, near Hong Kong.
According to a report in Hong Kong’s South China Morning Post, some 300,000 sex workers operate in the streets, massage parlors, karaoke bars, saunas and hotels of Dongguan; and up to 800,000 people
-- an extraordinary 10 percent of the city’s population – are involved in the sex trade in one form or another.

Sex or Smartphones: Which Would You Give Up?
Coffee, smartphone, alcohol or sex?
A survey by Mason-Dixon Polling & Research of 1,000 registered American voters showed that given a choice of what to give up for one week, sex topped the list.
About 29 per cent of the Americans would rather have their caffeine fix, while a close 28 per cent are not willing to give up their smartphones and 23 per cent are not willing to fast on alcohol, the survey results said.
Only 12 per cent expressed unwillingness to give up sex for one week.

Sex supplements often contain Viagra ingredients
Herbal supplements aimed at improving men's sexual abilities often contain the active ingredients in erectile dysfunction pills such as Viagra, according to a new study.
Additionally, researchers found that some of these over-the-counter herbal remedies contained more of the ingredient than is allowed in prescription-only pharmaceuticals.
"It's pretty scary stuff," said Neil Campbell, the lead author of the study and a researcher at Pfizer, which sells Viagra. "These products are not herbal at all, they're adulterated."
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration, which is in charge of regulating herbal supplements, posted 11 warnings to consumers in 2013 alerting them of unlabeled pharmaceuticals being found in these products.

Sports Illustrated Loves Models. Female Athletes? Not So Much
A recent study by the Department of Sociology at the University of Louisville asks a very good question:
Where are all the women in Sports Illustrated?
Unless they're models wearing bikinis, they're certainly not on the cover.
http://img.gawkerassets.com/img/18n9...g/k-bigpic.jpg
Researchers found that of the 716 SI issues published between 2000 and 2011, a mere 35 of them had covers featuring female athletes. That's only 4.9%.

Sex worker ban a 'win for common sense'
A NORTH Queensland motel has won a legal battle against a sex worker who successfully sued for discrimination after being told she could not work as a prostitute on the premises.
The sex worker, who said she was earning $2000 a day, initially lost her discrimination case against the Drovers Rest Motel in Moranbah, west of Mackay, after she was told by the owner to take her business elsewhere.
However, she was last year awarded $30,000 compensation when she appealed the decision in the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
The motel owners then took the matter to the Court of Appeal in Brisbane, which on Friday ruled in their favour.
The court found that discrimination on the basis that she was a lawfully employed sex worker was prohibited, but discrimination on the basis that she proposed to perform work as a sex worker at the motel was not.
The ruling follows the state government's recent changes to the Anti-Discrimination Act, which has made it legal for accommodation providers to evict or bar people they believe are sex workers.
Attorney-General Jarrod Bleijie has welcomed the decision as "a win for business and common sense".

Google Glass to be used in XXX flicks
PORN directors are planning to use Google Glass eyewear to film the next generation of X-rated flicks.
The adult film industry wants to use the futuristic specs in a “truly hands-free fashion” to take graphic point-of-view shots, according to insiders.
Google is expected to be highly embarrassed by the revelation that their high-tech Glass gear may become asssociated with pornographic movies.
Q Boyer, a spokesman for porn filmmakers Pink Visual, said: “Obviously a device that allows you to shoot high-quality video in a truly hands-free fashion will make shooting point of view (POV) porn that much easier.
“To really know their full potential, we'll need to get a pair to play around with.
“But we're already dreaming up ways to use the glasses to get shots, sex-related and otherwise, that just aren't feasible using a traditional camera set-up.”
Google Glass specs costs around £1,000 a pair. They are currently on limited release to 2,000 people and will be more widely available later this year or in 2014.
Porn star Alana Evans has already said Google Glass will spark a “huge drive” in POV filming.
Lap dance clubs in the US have already warned that those wearing the Internet-connected specs would be kicked out as filming strippers is banned.
Google refused to comment on the potential use of its Glass technology in porn films.

Ghost camera catches underage sex
A Hobart court has heard a woman was recorded having sex with a teenage boy on a camera set up to capture paranormal activity.
The 28-year-old woman from the east coast pleaded guilty in the Supreme Court in Hobart to five counts of sex with an under-aged boy between October and November 2012.
It was alleged the woman had known the boy since he was in primary school.
The boy's father discovered the sexual relationship when he was reviewing video from a camera he had set up to try and capture paranormal activity.
After being questioned by police, the court heard the boy moved to the state's west coast and the woman travelled to see him.
The pair had sex again during a six-day stay in a hotel.
The woman has been remanded in custody for sentencing next week.
