This reminds me when I was consulting for one of the 4 major banks, I detailed and presented a report that there was an issue with their tech system. Did they jump onto it ? Did I get a big round of applause ? No ! They threw the report away. fast forward 2 years, I hear they had the very same glitch I had called out. Hit the news. Do you think they would think about the original report that told them that ? Should I call the banks the equal of the China govt ? it's just the reality of the world, it's the same everywhere in every organisation regardless of colour. That dream state doesn't exist...

Of course Japan is excluded from the totalitarian list. Japan with one of the best health infrastructures in the world and a population that reacts to disasters better than any other (see post EQ/tsunami). I am neither right wing or left wing.

But Sorry to say I am starting to hate Chinese government as well.
How many times will they allow diseases like Coronavirus, SARs, Bird flu to let loose?
And they don't seem all that apologetic either.

This is going to have a far reaching impact for decades to come.
