Actually, coming out of china at the moment is increasing freight volume by air, maybe not direct, but overall with their wharf issues, definitely increasing.
Many passenger planes arriving in Australia, with few (if any) passengers, but their holds are full of freight.
Analyst's at the International Air Transport Association (IATA) have stated that air traffic
will take several years to normalise and pre covid levels won't return until 2024.. When I read that I knew straight away it would be years away before international travel will resume again. Even scomo has stated it will be years away, he knows borders aren't opening for a long time, look at the UK now, nearly 70% vaccinated and they had 10k cases in a day, now its the delta varient.. I'd forget about international travel and just punt local..
With all the alerts in Sydney CBD and Surrey Hills areas what are the odds we'll be seeing brothels go to outcall only again soon?
Things are not looking too good again... hopefully it settles soon

Exposure sites keep on rising and testing rates stay at around 25,000. If no more unknown source cases in the next few days and testing rates increased to 30,000 or more then I think the outbreak in Bondi Junction Westfield is contained and settled. Otherwise more restrictions will be forthcoming.
I think it would be a mistake to think that we can deal with this Delta variant in the same way we dealt with the other variants. Just look at how it spread in that Bondi Junction case. One guy simply walked past the same "air" as the infected guy and he got it. And the lady who was sitting outside the cafe getting it from the guy who was inside.
That tells us the "rules of the game" have changed because of Delta. 1.5m apart, stay in same room for more than 1 hour, etc... Do they still apply to this Delta variant? These "rules" were also used by the health "experts" to come up with the exposure sites list and who are considered close contacts and not. If those rules have changed, surely they would have to change the way they come up with all these collateral stuff?
The biggest danger for us is people who have the virus and not coming out to get tested. The fear of losing income for weeks must be a huge incentive to just try to fight the virus on their own!
I mean, is it a coincidence that a majority of the recent positive cases we've had are from the rich Eastern suburbs people? These are the ones that can afford to go without an income for extended periods of time. You try asking a Uber driver out west, who's probably living hand to mouth as it is, to get tested and possibly have to go into quarantine for weeks and no income... Forget about it!
21 cases in a city of 6 million people is nothing to panic about.
Just need to keep the international borders closed and improve quarantine and vaccination procedures and we are OK here until the world reaches 80% vaccination and/or herd immunity kicks in.
The Delta Variant originated in India is definitely very terrible and much more highly contagious than the UK Variant. Nevertheless, an Epidemiologist has opined that the spread will also depend on the infected person who spread it. The flight crews driver is himself also a super-spreader and so spreading it easily via his airspace ie high airborne efficiency in Westfield but others infected by him don’t seem to have spread the same Delta Variant so efficiently. The same seems to be holding true in the Melbourne outbreak for this Delta Variant. This maybe the only comfort we can have now in monitoring the current outbreak in Sydney.
well, there is mandatory mask-wearing now in indoor venues.
Quoted:
Sydney's mask-wearing restrictions will remain in force for an additional week, Ms Berejiklian has announced.
The restrictions were initially set to lift at 12.01am on Thursday.
The requirement is also being extended to all of Greater Sydney, meaning everybody in the metropolitan area will have to wear masks while at an indoor venue, including hospitality venues, grocery stores, or any indoor events.
A person can only take their mask off at an indoor venue if they are eating or drinking.
No punting massage or FS for me now. My regular will be poorer for the next weeks.
Very very sad !!!
It was also announced that QR codes will be mandatory at ALL retail outlets soon. It's highly likely this will never be repealed.
Say goodbye to pre-covid normality, it's been nice knowing you.
Had my second shot of the Pfizer vaccine.
Had a punt the next night.
Still not going to leave home without a mask though.
Hope everyone keeps safe, girls, punters and staff.

But FS shop is not on the list for face mask how surprising. I m sure it be add in later after Premier and CHO have read this forum like last year that sex shops and night clubs were excluded
I was at Castle Towers shopping centre Castle Hill today hardly anyone wearing masks even in post office not one person was wearing a mask, I've had 2 shots of Pfizer and I was wearing a mask. I was speaking to a mate from Melbourne he said himself and all his friends with will never get the Vaccine he said he knows doctors you can pay money to and they will sign documents saying they were vaccinated. I think this will be commonplace for Aniti Vaxxers to get around the Vaccine unfortunately if they want to travel overseas
