And Justice For All turned 35 last week. There are days this is my favourite Metallica album, and this song is among the very best in their catalogue.
💯% with you there. It's a well balanced album and close second master of puppets
Haha true that...
People of the world (GneHHHc Remix).
Been listening to it non-stop daily for almost two weeks now since partying with Bella @19 Lipstick.
I’m gonna have to fuck her soon again lads..
The sound of silence

I might be a bit behind the curve, but I've been delving into the delightful music of Marvin Gaye lately. It appears he had quite a few hits in the past, but I've come across at least two or three of his albums that stand out as exceptional works from beginning to end.
I've been doing revisions of Prince lately.
FMD this guy is a bona fide Guitar God, but it just gets lost in all his other achievements. Check out his solo in this live cover of "While my guitar gently weeps" (starts at around the middle of the video):

Christopher Cross - Sailing
"So break yourself against my stones
And spit your pity in my soul
You never needed any help
You sold me out to save yourself
And I won't listen to your shame
You ran away, you're all the same
Angels lie to keep control
Ooh my heart was punished long ago
If you still care don't ever let me know
If you still care don't ever let me know...."
Good cover, the original feels more raw, more visceral to me, especially the last verse and the way he emphasises "And I won't listen"... and the last line..
Such a great song..
Like this. Great cover, but as much as I love Mikaels voice, and Opeth in general, Layne's original vocals feel they match the songs feeling better.

Haha can't never compete with the original, specially the live version, is as brutal and raw as you can get. The feeling is so different yet I like the arrangements on this one heaps. I think Corey's soul went to the female violinist there. She was living the lyrics
