Not sure if the question is rhetorical but here goes.

I can find China Southern round trip from Syd to GZ and return at $13,380 on one day in June. GZ to Syd one way from $3500 (but apparently they won't let you in unless you've got a good reason).

The thing they don't tell you is the cost of doing it and the quarantine ain't free either.

The universities would love to see them return but with cases of covid19 on the rise in some parts of Asia, it's too risky to open the borders at this stage. Of course, it means less variety of girls for punters to try but nothing can be done.

It is already doing that. Some shops have put prices up. Even popular privates are jacking up their price.
This is a weird situation the world is going through. It's almost like a de-globalization. The opposite of what has been going on that was "powered" by international travel, is now happening.
Let's see how it turns out.

AUD. Not sure if that's a firm price, it might change day to day, who knows.

Yeah, those airfare are scary. A few of my regulars have told me that their family members had returned home to China last year and preferred to stay there , mainly due to the very expensive airfares to return and then the hotel quarantine!

The Indian Cricket Board paid for their flights and quarantine. They weren't counted in the weekly 3000

They had all the expenses paid for by the Indian board of the cricket council.

Unfortunately most of the brothers are under 50 and not eligible for AstraZenaca with a minimal risk of blood clotting side effects. Pfizer/BioNTech is now in short supply throughout the World. In hindsight, the Federal Government should have put their bets on Pfizer/BioNTech rather than AstraZenaca.

U can have AstraZenaca if u under 50 just have to sign a disclaimer
