Yeah, apparently Dutton’s (former) electorate has been marginal for a long time, which does raise the question of why the party would risk elevating him to leader. Had the Libs run a better campaign (and maybe had there not been the Trump factor wild card) there was a decent chance they could have beat Labour, but just imagine they won but Dutton lost his seat.
