It must be devastating for her to lose everything. I hope she hasn't turned to you for financial support.

No no, nothing like that, thankfully.
I mean, plenty have done it tough here as well, not for a second taking anything away from them, there are lots of hard luck stories from the past 2 years and I am acutely aware of how fortunate I have been through it all, really only complaining about cabin fever during lockdown and a couple of work trips to exotic locales cancelled, but that was the first real first hand account of what had been going on in China that I had heard (not just in regards to the closed businesses). I do think she will bounce back, she is a smart girl and is already working on how to leverage her knowledge from home to work for her here.
Let's hope that Pings cerebral aneurism can help not only China but the world (as well as Putin's cancer).
Fuck, now we've got monkeypox! Wtf... This time the focus seems to be on sex on premise. Not good news for us!
Why is it it's suddenly linked to the gay and bisexual community? If it's transmitted by way of sexual activity, it's the same issue for all orientations? https://www.news.com.au/national/nsw...850cca09a2dfe8
It looks like a revolting disease. :thirst:
Ah that doesn't look good. Maybe should hold off punting for a bit or get a quick few in before it really spreads.
I'd assume the increased risk for gay and bisexual community is due to the same reasons as it is for HIV and other STIs: high levels for promiscuous sexual activity and anal sex tends to carry a higher risk of disease transmission. One of the wonderful things about vaginas its they're actually evolved to be somewhat resistant to STIs, not so much the anus however.
"U.K. to offer smallpox vaccine shots to health workers as monkeypox spreads in Europe" "Smallpox vaccines are 85% effective against monkeypox, according to WHO" https://www.cbc.ca/news/health/brita...cine-1.6459654Quote:
Dr Sutton noted there would be people in Australia born after 1980 who would not be vaccinated against smallpox, which would protect them from monkeypox.
Professor Raina MacIntyre, the head of the biosecurity program at the Kirby Institute and part of the WHO Strategic Advisory Group of Experts on smallpox and monkeypox, said research showed waning immunity from smallpox vaccination might be contributing to the increasing outbreaks of monkeypox.
“It is more than 40-50 years since mass vaccination ceased,” she said.
Looks like the boomers might not have to worry as much. Zoomers on the other hand :burn:
Completely numb to the monkey pox news now
These major parties are in all support of signing the WHO Pandemic Treaty that Bill Gates is pushing to have signed on 22 May 2022. This is a real worry. It will take our independence away as a country that has its own laws. It will give WHO absolute power over sovereign nations when it comes to dealing with pandemics or medical treatments of viruses etc. Imagine having Dr Gates (not even a doctor but sees himself as a medical expert) dictating to countries how to go about in dealing with viruses and plunging countries into further debt by buying more vaccines that he has a major interest in promoting and from which he is profiteering from and making him even more wealthier. It will be absolute power to WHO. Do we need this given the way they mishandled the virus and pandemic situation? Think about it.
For us punters do we want more lockdowns and mandates that will impact on enjoying our punting? Stop us from seeing WLs and MLs because Gates says millions will die if countries don't listen to his advice. Girls having no money to support themselves and families because they can't work. One word to Gates and WHO. Leave people and countries alone.

The fact people take the UAP seriously makes me lose faith in humanity.
