There are 1.5 billion of them and they put all their resources and talent into just one sport - cricket - and they cant even dominate that one. And they have no other sporting achievements. Yeah OK, a little bit of success in hockey, but that's it - zero in the Olympics, soccer, basketball, rugby, tennis, golf, motor racing, boxing etc
OK they are a developing nation, but Brazil is also a developing nation and they put all all of their resources and talent into one sport - football/soccer - but at least they dominate it - and they also produce the occasional MMA, motor racing, long jump champ as well - and there are only 200 million of them.
