Sex in marriage worked fine when there was a social expectation that a wife's duty was to always be available sexually. But that idea went out the window with feminism and equality and seems rapey.

Now I don't actually think the system works anymore. Women generally stop wanting sex when there stops being valuable things to trade it for (ie. His already hitched to you and giving him sex doesn't seem give you anything you wouldn't already have).

And the male sex drive doesn't really care about trading sex for anything. Sex is the goal in itself that we will trade other things for.

Atleast we live in glorious Sydney where it's legal to discreetly get your needs met elsewhere.

Honestly Im starting to believe prostituition is actually far more stable of a model than marriage when it comes to keeping both sexes satisfied. Prostituition is what marriage was supposed to be, plus kids.

I bring the resources so you can eat, you bring the sex, so I can be satisfied. That's what marriage was supposed to be.

Woman do need mental stimulation before they become horny and want sex. How that is achieved and the required time frame is different for every woman. You can reduce that time frame if you're either handsome, rich, charming, funny etc.

A bit contributor to sexless marriages is hormones. If you google testosterone levels for men and estrogen levels for women, it varies greatly by age. Mens testoterone does not experience a dramatic dip. Its a slow tapering after 40-50s and even during 60s, its still there. A womans hormone levels drops like a rock after 40.

Also any time before 100 years ago when the average lifespan of humans was 30-40 years old the phrase "till death do us apart" was only a vow you had to abide by for 10-15 years max. Now if you marry when you are 25, die at 95, thats 70 years with them.

Both are correct.

Women do love sex. It (can) feels as good to them as for us, better even, if she is truly into the guy, really turned on and the guy knows what he is doing, where she is experiencing multiple O's.
