I have used the Australia post gift card in the past. It should work.

Just get a Revolut card. Easy peasy.

I would luv to find a hotel with sauna and spa and a decent length of time on their dy rate. or even a decent overnight rate.

Any suggestions on the cheaper side ?

There is a real market for a japanese style love hotel/motel with all the room facilities.
