Many are. I have a circle of contacts in the punting community and all tell me they are punting less due to 2 things price and performance.
And please enough with the " I've got a regular who gives me top performance at a great price because I am such a good client"
Most of my punting friends are not happy with a massage and just a RnT. Seems Wg's due to lack of clients are trying to charge more to fill the gap.
This strategy is common in the low season in Thai etc.
Little do they understand that if they drop their prices then by pure volume their earnings will increase. But they didn't get the A's and B's at school, more than likely.
So what does one do?
My strategy now: 2 x OS trips per year (usually June & Dec) to Phil/ Thai etc, 4 Footy & Fucking Trips to Sydney, when I get really horny - go to "proven" shop and take my chances and of course, regular use of Pornhub et al.
Apparently mental health professionals say to keep a positive and optimistic view on life you should always have something to look forward to in the near future - the trips OS and Sydney trips dispersed through out the year give me this.
So its usually 6- 8 wks before I know there's something good coming up.
For every problem there is a solution.
Hope my contribution gives food for thought for others so they can improve their punting experience. And remember ...if its crap WALK!

i think someone in here should organize a trip for us all to go to Thailand or PH for a get-drunk-fuck-or-be-fucked kind of experience. But alas, i don't know anything about Thailand nor PH.

really xpensive now,was quote 100 and forward ,not even 50 for a regular hj ,not anymore,little disappointed cause this place was a regular for me ages

How about, "please, enough with the whinging about prices" and move on. It's like everything in life, supply and demand.
I guess prices will continue to go up, thats life..... u work within your own personal budgets....

The question is, is the price the same for everyone? Maybe it reflects on you if they seem dear, maybe they’re trying to get you in particular not to do it

PAL ( Phil Airlines) are cheaper than others and trip is ok - manilla airport is not the best but if its just a stopover its ok.
Maybe look at PAL to manilla stay a week then Thai and then return home - my last trip to Phil got Bus flight return for 2.3k return.

I think realistically no ML gets the full massage fee. If it's a $70 for an hour, at best they get is 50% of that. Mls receive a basic wage of $25 - $30 an hour. Hence they make the money on extras. A few shops take all the massage fee and the MLs rely on the extras. Some shops fine girls if they don't come to work, come late, receive bad reviews.
So MLs may charge $50 to rub here and there, but that's not their wage.
If you're a ML how much should one earn (not talking about extras) in Australia for massaging random old men who try to touch them not stop?
Are pricing going up? As far as I can tell, not at the shops I frequent. They've been the same for years. Even T5 back in the day charged $70hr and many thought they were the golden standard.
I assume many of us earn more than we did 4 years ago.
Even Sydney massage shops have increased in prices. Brothels have increased in price.
The only complaint i have is private escorts ridiculous prices.

the VFM from most shops isn't there, at least for me. Like most I've had missed success with privates at the $100/30min level. At least for that money is a fully nude service with some respectful touching, often much more
I have just been in Perth for 2 weeks and I can honestly say we are getting ripped here in Brisbane.
Bodyheat massage $180 for an hour, lady is fully naked whole time, custom built establishment, beds with a hole in the middle so you can hang free, front and back bodyslides and most of the ladies there are top notch.
Yet to find anything comparable in Brisbane.
15 to 20 years ago the standard price at many shops was $60/hr, with some charging $50, so a $10 increase in that time I don't think is unreasonable.
We have a financial divide between the tight arses and those who pay market prices. The same girl will provide completely different services to each group. Choose whichever you prefer.
