Always waiting despite booking, is this normal in Australia?

Hi everyone, I'm new here, but not new to punting.

Recently I've been visiting two of the more popular joints quite often. I always book in advance, like 8–12 hours ahead. But every single time, I still have to wait another 15-25 minutes, and a couple times 45 minutes. Sometimes I even text them 1 hour before to say "I'll be there soon" they reply "Ok", but when I arrive, they still ask me to wait. Worst part, if I ask "how long more", they say "10 minutes", and ten minutes later, they will say "another 10 minutes".

I'm not from Australia originally, so I'm not sure if this is normal there. In my country prostitution is also legal and bookings are always on time, with at most a 5-minute wait on rare occasions. Thought it's common sense, otherwise, what's the point of booking?

Just wondering if this is standard practice so I can adjust my expectations. Because it does annoy the shit out of me as someone who is punctual and not used to waiting.

So the question, is it just me or not? If not, perhaps they've just been taking advantage of me? If yes, how long is considered reasonable? Thanks.

I haven't had any long waits with bookings to be honest. Except one girl who was so great you'd forgive her for anything..... :)
5-10 minutes I suppose, nothing more.... Why don't you vote with your dollar and try somewhere else?

This is common too in my experiences at multiple joints. I’ve even had it where I was running late and hadn’t arrived at a place 2 minutes before a booking made 18+ hours in advance was meant to start, and got a message “Bro where are you? (girl’s name) is waiting!” but when I got there 30 seconds later, I still waited in the room alone for 5-7 minutes after paying and being lead to the room lol

So is like a Doctor appointment you wait if you want to get the medication and get well. Especially if is a good Doctor.

I don't how it is in other countries, but here a 5–9 minute wait is always expected, in fact, it's never bang on time. But anything longer than 10 minutes isn't normal. I usually just swap girls or head to the next shop. Simple right? Their loss, not mine. Why bother putting up with it?

But you mentioned 20–45minutes, that's fucked. Clearly some bloke before you took his sweet time finishing inside your girl's mouth for the 2nd or 3rd round. Props to you if you still kissed her after that. I would walk out personally.

It's punting so you take your chances, but if that happened to me more than once at the same place I'd never return. Look around, there are plenty of places you can go where they would value your business. Take a punt on somewhere new.

I don't think it's an Australian brothel thing. Booking timing, no matter what industry or where you're from, is dependent on a few things - whether the day/shift started on time, and whether each subsequent booking started on time as well. If a customer is stuck in traffic and 15 minutes late for their 6:00pm booking, then your 7:00pm booking is gonna be pushed out another 15 minutes. Imagine this snowballing. I've been on the receiving end as well as the culprit of this.

That said, it's up to the brothel to reach out to booked customers of the delays. I've had my usual haunts send me a courtesy text saying to show up 15 minutes later, or sometimes ask me if I can come in earlier (probably due to a cancellation). Sometimes they don't. Also, I think it's fair to give the girls a 15 minute break each session, but for the brothels, this is money lost; for a busy girl, this could be 2 hours worth of sessions that they could've made money on. I'm not sure of the logistics behind it, but I'm assuming this is what the brothel managers think about.

A doctors appointment is critical, sometimes life/death, so people are more willing to compromise. I don't think it’s a fair comparison.

This has been my experience, except with double the waiting time. 10 minutes in the waiting room and another 10 minutes in the room.

Well, in my country, if you're 15 minutes late, your booking gets cut by 15 minutes, simple as that. Why should the next customer, who's completely innocent, have to bear the consequences? It's simply illogical, or am I missing something?

Thanks for the response. Seems like it's quite common here, though my experience was worse than most. Maybe because I'm new and they made me a sacrificial lamb in favor of the VIPs and regulars. Fair enough.

Next time, I'll just walk out and check out other joints if this happens again, which I'm pretty sure it will.

Hence the 10 minute rule for me.

The waiting is most likely cause the previous punter is still warming that pussy up for you.

I've had a long wait happen to me once, I waited 30 mins just to be told she wasn't feeling well.

Was my first time booking the girl + I had booked her last slot for the day (not that these are valid reasons but may have played out differently if i was a regular?). Never rebooked her but i did get a full refund + a discount for my next booking so wasn't too mad about it (althought the family jewels would say otherwise).

In my experiece girl arrives within 15 mins (though 90% of the time probably closer to within 5 or 10).

Most I’ve had to wait is 5 mins 10 mins max. I do appreciate when a receptionist will come in and cover and get things started.

If I ever had to wait alone for 20 mins plus I would automatically never return to the shop. Gotta vote with your feet

I waited 27 minutes on Friday for my booking @GE.
I was about leave out of my room I was assigned as she knocked on the door. Not sure if she was a bit embarrassed or didn’t realize that she was late. Anyway I calmed down with a shower for 2 with a great BBBJ and wash down.

Are you booking the same girls, or different (i.e. repeats or not)? Time of day? Season (as in rainy)? No need to answer.

Don't visit brothels enough to bother, but with RnTs, if she's a repeat, I get her WeChat. Now, if she's running late, she'll message me, keep me informed (e.g. raining, trams stopped, buses delayed, she'll let me know). Same with illness (or better offer).

If you book earlier in the day, as posted, less of a knock-on effect from delays.

Rain? Slows public transport. Even if you've booked later in the day, that knock-on effect from her late starting...

15 minutes, I cut her some slack. Longer than that, I'm at the front desk with a question. I have walked when the "10 minutes" was repeated too frequently. Yes, shit happens, but my time is valuable too.

Most important question: how important is her experience to you that day?

Japan is the only country I know that runs to time every time.

Everywhere else runs on Western time.
