Sharing my experience to maybe save some of you fellas some money, though the nature of the game is that you're bound to have a bad experience no matter how careful you are but here we go. Note this is only for full service providers, there's a ton of info about massage parlors and happy ending providers on this forum elsewhere.

Terms:

Full service = sex and bj.
Girlfriend experience (GFE) = whatever the hell the provider wants it to mean. Completely meaningless term, sometimes it includes French kissing, sometimes no kissing. Sometimes it includes going down on them, other times thats a PSE only.
Pornstar experience (PSE) = Whatevers not in GFE (if they even do it at all).

For other terms, urban dictionary is your friend.

Brothels

My experience with brothels is admittedly small and I've only been to a few different establishments in Brisbane so far. Right off the bat it should be noted that brothels are apparently much better in cities like Sydney and Melbourne, Brisbane seemingly gets fucked, and not in the way we want to be paying for.

At a brothel all the available girls will introduce themselves to you one by one. This is meant to be done privately where you sit in a little changing room type area with a curtain, but if you don't shut the curtain yourself they may use that chance to not come into the room all and awkwardly say hi to you from outside the room. This is one of the surprising aspects of going to a brothel, how cold most of the girls are.

Many of the girls won't even offer a smile. I follow a piece of advice I heard elsewhere, always choose from the ones who will, or the ones who make more of an effort. So far the ones I've had sessions with have not been awkward in the way that I think it could be otherwise so I consider following the advise a success. For the lineup I've also had experiences where I didn't get all the girls advertised on the website. This could be because they're already with another customer but one time I made a point of showing up at opening time to be the first customer and yet there were only 3 of the advertised 6 that saw me. Basically you get the impressions girls who work at a brothel are particularly temperamental birds.

Some brothels the introductions will be really fast. Last time I went they were introducing themselves to two of us customers basically at the same time. I'm lucky the other guy didn't pick my girl because it happened so quick I struggled to remember the names of the others. This also makes it harder to know what services they include/extras on offer before you've already made your selection. Although I've not experienced these types myself yet, I've heard some girls have ridiculous demands, like touching boobs as an extra... But not all girls worship Stalin like this.

Generally I think brothels might be the best vfm for basic services, and among the worst for anything more. If you just want to plow or get a bj from an attractive girl, brothels will save you money. If you want a GFE or PSE, go private. If you want really attractive girl, go private. Again my brothel experience is limited, and it might better outside of Brisbane, but I've never seen a 10/10 or even a girl I'd rate as a 9. Mostly 6's and 7's.

If seeing other customers in passing puts you off, go private.

If you hate booking ahead and just want to go somewhere as the itch arises, brothels are great. No booking needed.

If you want to find a girl who can be a regular, go private. You might meet the best girl of your life at a brothel and the next week she'll be gone forever.

Privates - What to look out for - reviews and scammers.

Best place to start is finding a girl who has positive reviews. There are a lot of reviews on this forum, but it is almost entirely Asian and low rates focused (cheap bastards, though I'm one of them). The best site is punterplanet but you have to pay a subscription. However, you can sign up for free which allows you access to one review every 24 hours (though sometimes it bugs out allowing you to see two in 24 hours or none for multiple days).

I often will google a phone number to see if a review pops up. Alternatively you can try googling the name with punterplanet (a lot of girls change their numbers but via forums like this punters sometimes keep track of who the girl is).

This is the best way to avoid being scammed but there are always more girls then there are reviews of them so sometimes you may just want to take a chance, if so consider the following:

The two adages hold true, you get what you pay for and if its too good to be true it probably is.

The cheapest ads are always Asian and they always look good, that's because they're almost always fake. Even on sites like escortsandbabes that has a photo verification option, you can't trust it for lower rate providers. A good rule of thumb is if they clearly show their face and they're not a high rate provider, its fake. Simple as that. You can also try google searching the image and often you'll see it on ads in other cities. These low rate Asian ads will also lie about services they provide, whatever it takes to get you in the door and handing over the money. Generally speaking you're looking at a starfish experience so my advice is to never pay an hour, always go for a short punt and don't waste your time with extras. This isn't to say there aren't hidden gems out there but temper your expectations.

Deposits - Never pay a deposit unless the girl is well known and reviewed, this should be common sense. Even then I would advise to take your business elsewhere because there are still plenty who don't take a deposit and its better for all punters to try and reject this side of the business.

Another common thing to look out for in your "selection" are real ads with very flattering pictures. Another of my rules of thumb is if she's "curvy" she's going to be 15kg heavier than what she looks like in the ads. Curvy girls without a belly is hot to me, but they always have the belly... But then I don't go for the high rate girls (get what you pay for).

Older women tend to be better VFM. Older Australian women are either Karens or the most relaxed angels in the world, if you get the latter as an escort than you're looking for some quality punts without breaking the bank. (Though some older women still try to retain what I would consider "youthful rates" so there's no hard rule for every type of escort here)

The benefit of a private is you should be able to get their list of services and extras in advance. Most will have a copy and paste message ready to go when you text them.

I'm sure there's more advice I could share but this post is long enough, maybe others will add some pieces of wisdom from their own experiences.

Good advice for the newbies. Generally 99% of the private asians at the "lower" cheap rate are fake. and the most important tip is to WALK away if you don't like what you see. Don't think with your dick or saying "time wasted" Scammers are relying on people who cbf walking away since they are already there. Practice the walking away
