The universal hatred towards them is simply a product of their own doing, or at least a large majority of their cohort. This racism is different from the white vs black racism where, yes, the "doctrine" is to literally hate the colour of skin.

Good assessment and correlates with my experiences, in which there is a feeling of underlying detachment with Japanese girls, which is probably a good thing from their perspective.

My point is that stereotypes are formed very early in life, and reinforced by language use and children’s stories. And there is a reality of self-fulfilment. How many posts have there been about Indians scamming ML? They say they will pay later and then walk out. That's why many girls ask for money upfront now. Some guys ruin it for everyone else.
I can attest. I've been working on a project involving offshore Indian developers. There's one guy who's more experienced in the team and a junior guy. Fark, you wouldn't believe how nasty the experienced guy is to the junior guy. Completely unprofessional, barks orders at him full on in front of everyone in a teams meeting. Basically treats him like his gimp and only this 1 poor chap, nobody else.
I got the feeling that he must be playing on caste somehow because I'd never seen a senior treat a junior like that anywhere in more than 2 decades in the industry.
