I had clear symptoms which started as a mild sore throat which started about 5 days after I saw a certain lady.. it stayed for 2 weeks which I knew was weird... then I got lesions on my tongue... you know white spots and swollen lymph nodes... this was Jan 2025..

I went to a sex health clinic and got

1. THROAT swab
2. Blood taken (a lot of blood)
3. Piss test... dont pee for at least an hour before

I got a text back a day later to see their doctor and was cured in 7 days... they suggest no sex thereafter for 2 weeks

Twas a good lesson as I almost certainly got mine from extended DATY of said lady or possibly DFK or PS.. who knows.. but I haven't Bbfs anyone since 2017.. so

I get this test done now every month... never had another issue but I do use doxy and azithromycin a day before and day of and day after seeing any new lady.... reduces my risk of bacterial sti to almost zero.. Hepatitis and other still possible

In Sydney there are many free discreet clinics where information of being tested is NOT PUT on your Medicare govt records... I am single so no biggie but I know a married guy who went to his doctor and then saw something on his report (?)

Cheers i havent had bbfs in bout 18 months I thought back then i probably should of got a test but never did i didnt have any symptoms of anything so i didnt bother

Whats involved in an std check at these clinics ive never been tested do they just do a piss test or take blood or what
