So yeah, the reason I wanted people to take the hint - this was back in April when I saw K Roma.
I was at reception giving feedback when one of the ladies came to the desk. It was Erena. I recognised her face from one of her (now old) photos.
She showed them her phone, and asked if she could ban 'him', saying he was flooding her with messages, constantly asking to see her or when she was free, and wouldn't leave her alone or take a hint not to.
She looked pissed, but also controlled, like she's experienced this before.
They were discussing it and said they would take care of it and were talking about when she'd be back, etc.
I'd only heard about it from others, and from punters here, but it was pretty jarring to hear in person a woman having to deal with a fucking stalker.
And I think that must have shown on my face, because after she was done and said bye to the reception boys, Erena saw I was watching and turned to and said bye to me as well with a wave and a smile like a professional and not like a woman who was dealing with something horrible.
I definitely think it's because she's experienced and is more 'strong-willed', but I can't imagine how horrible it would be for one of the inexperienced or younger girls and how fucken scared they would be if some fuckwit had their number and was harrassing them repeatedly at all hours (or the fear of running into them in the shop), especially while being in an unfamiliar country.
I know some WLs move shops or even cities to get away from stalkers, but seeing as how she came back, obviously she prefers working at this shop and it looks like they took care of the stalker in some way or another as well. Name change is probably part of that precaution, and I'm sure they vet whoever sees her too now.
I know there are other reasons for a name change (like rebranding, as Linza Giz mentioned), but in this case, I'm pretty certain it had to do with a stalker.
And can all the stalkers (not just Erena's one, because I know there are some others on this forum) just fuck off already?
