Went recently about a month ago, tried out the famous tobita shinchi street.
For anyone who doesn’t know it’s basically a whole block maybe 4-5 streets where they have girls on display with an older lady next to them. They’ll keep calling you to get you to come in. Just ignore them if you don’t like the girl on display, walk around til you find the girl you definitely like.
I made this mistake I was a bit shy so ended up only walking around a few times and choosing one that was eh not bad but could be better.

Experience-wise though no FS. CBJ only. They’ll try to get you with the foreigner(gaijin) prices but if you just stay hesitant they’ll offer you the Japanese prices. About 16,000 yen is standard I believe, cash only. no DFK. Pretty bad experience overall cbj was horrible. Barely went further than half the length of my D.

I’m sure YMMV if you go about it better than I did. Just be respectful don’t have your camera/phone out while walking, wouldn’t want to get in trouble. I did not have much info of punts in Japan so I tried whatever I could research.
