I've seen banning before but never the go nuclear banning option where linq's very posts have been scrubbed. That is a bit mean, as someone else has said there was definitely an entertainment quotient there. He only survives now where he has been quoted.

Damn, seems I'm a bit slow, didn't catch the chopping; only his shadow (quoted posts) remain. He himself disappeared.
Seems there are a number of levels:
1. Banned but posts remain
2. Banned with posts removed (precision weapon)(bye bye)
3. Banned with whole threads vaporized (WMD)

I understand it would be a bit more work for moderators, but perhaps a blue ink warning might be given - post removed with a This post was removed as it contributed nothing and was a waste of bandwidth. Certainly any number would just ignore the strike, but one would hope some are teachable before 3 strikes and ban is lowered. Or not.
