Murder is VERY different to having to live with trauma and disability for life.

Insurance payout for deaths might be 50k, but for permanent disabilities, payments may be well over 200k. Figure why?!?!!?

There's a lot of money there. Yes, it is taxpayers money. But we are very lucky beings to be able to help less fortunate people like her with the tax we pay. Although I bitch about paying tax day in day out, the money's gotta go somewhere, why not to her?
