As to why I think independents are rare, especially if they worked in Ireland, it's because trafficking there is rife. In the past year there was two major cases of sex trafficking rings being taken down. One was a group from the Czech Republic, the other a Brazilian gang, and both were using the EI website for the girls they were trafficking.

Anyone reading this who wants to know what escorting in Ireland is really all about should read Anna Rajmon's book Elis - Irish Call Girl. She writes about being marketed as "independent" when she was actually controlled by an agency along with others. One of the other escorts she worked with spoke fluent English, by the way.

Asking for a review is one thing. The comments in that review and on EI suggest that clients were harassed and bombarded with messages for reviews. A bit of a difference.

Good of you to admit why this thread was actually started, though. 😉
I still fail to see the correlation between the existence of traffickers in any given country versus how rare it is to be independent.

Not every agency is a trafficker, but in Ireland agencies have a bad reputation regardless opposed to Switzerland and the UK where they're respectable.

Everyone uses EI in Ireland, so obviously agencies will too, even if they have to hide the fact that they are.

Not sure why someone who has good English would still choose to work with an agency, but I don't mind other people's business.

No, I never harass people for their review. The comment said that I ask everyone to review. A bit of difference indeed. It's what every business does.

You forgot to send the link of where you saw such comment on EI 🙂
