As of August 2024 providing unprotected sex is no longer an offence. Having sex when you have certain STIs is a sexual offence. Whatever offences they were, it wasn't for BBFS alone. The only offence police enforce in massage shops under the old prostitution laws now is sex trafficking. All other offences have been repealed. Working visa issues are enforced by Immigration. Workplace conditions by WHS.
