I know what you mean happyas - I was thinking the same thing with all this poetry, song lyrics, flowers and hearts fIoating around - when a simple booking is all that is required or called for! I do confess to being somewhat more pragamatic than perhaps the more airily romantic contributors to this great thread. (Erm, like Wizard, Boney and Eureka - and I think you included yourself too - and Ahlungor is like a father figure.)
I admit I do admire Isis, but that is only because of the posts that she makes. You have got to agree that she is a phenomenon. And it is the natural order of things that remarkable (let alone beauteous) young women such as Isis should get a lot of admiring attention in our different ways from the likes of gents such as us. That is one of the main reasons blokes exist on Earth to do! And hey! Eureka might land a date, they certainly have candles in common at least. Didn't Eureka almost burn down the Sheriton with the
Bold and the Beautiful set up he left unnattended?
