Comprehensive Guide to Singapore + Malaysia Scene for Newbies
Hi all bros and saluting all seniors
Newbie here, moving to Sydney (hopefully, but maybe Brissy or Melbourne) for work in about a year so I thought I'd check out the local scene. I saw a few posts here and there asking about Singapore and Malaysia for their trips overseas so I thought I'd contribute to the forum with what I know of the scene over there.
If any bros find this helpful, I'd appreciate you replying to this thread to let me know. Maybe one day I could ask you to return the favour by sharing contacts, tips, etc. on the local scene.
This guide will be quite broad in coverage but shallow in depth, so if you have questions on a certain aspect, please reply with questions (newbie account so can't PM yet) and I will do my best to provide more info.
I will use a Q&A style of information delivery. Hopefully it's easy to follow. Again, any further questions, just reply and I'll get back to you.
Q1: Is punting legal over there?
A1: In Malaysia, kind of but not really, just engage reputable contacts/establishments and common sense and you almost certainly won't have problems. Even if caught, the onus is on the provider, not so much the client. A half-hearted warning at worst is what I've heard, but no first-hand experience. (Now, most of this guide focuses henceforth on Singapore, but once you're in the Singapore scene, you get access to the cream of the crop in Malaysia too. For more on Malaysia see Q&A#10.) In Singapore, they have contained it to a red light district called 'Geylang'. It is fully legal and regulated within the framework of keeping it contained to that RLD, supposedly to limit spread of STDs. Geylang is basically Disneyland for the budget punter. Freelance work and agencies operating outside of that framework are very illegal, including FS massage parlours / RnTs, and Singapore police has a dedicated Anti-Vice department that enforces sexwork+gambling+drug laws, but again the providers cop the worst of it, not the client. Sign a form, play dumb, probably not even a fine (again, no first hand experience, but I have seen stories of MP raids where the customer is inconvenienced for 2 hours while they work out you're not the pimp, just a john. Once that's cleared up, you're good to go to the next shop a train station away to finish what you started). JUST DON'T DO DRUGS HERE AND PUNT AT THE SAME TIME, NEVER EVER EVER EVER. Go to Europe or some shit for that.
Q2: So why not just go to Geylang (the red light district)?
A2: You certainly can and many locals do, and for 1-2 day tourists this is probably the most convenient avenue of attack. But it can be more hit and miss, and it's more for lobangs (cheap whores, street meat, budget bitches, whatever you call it) where you know the WL you're with is engaging with the bottom rung of the ladder in the scene, the guys that can't get access to or afford freelancers with reputable agencies outside Geylang. And yes, many of the local punters in Singapore lose their appetite when they see 10 Bangladeshi foreign workers exiting a Geylang shop. Apparently there's a pecking order to sloppy seconds. Additionally, BBBJ/CIM is technically illegal in Geylang (over STD concerns) so many shops/WLs do not offer, which is why I've just never explored Geylang at length (BBBJ is my jam), so take my words with a grain of salt. I'm not a Geylang expert, but you can take this as a general understanding: you want quantity you go Geylang, you want quality you need to get in with a decent agency.
Q3: So you're saying don't go to Geylang brothels?
A3: Nah, well, you can have a pretty good time there. If you want to just go through and bang whatever chick on a budget (about 150-200 AUD per chick, depends on shop and girl. obviously, the cheaper shops/girls usually have a reason) quick and easy without the hassle of worrying about other shit, this is your stomping ground. It's like a buffet. You know everything you're eating is pretty low quality given the price, but there's heaps of choice, very filling, and you can eat a fuckton of it. Just don't expect the beef to be the same as ribeye steak at a steakhouse and don't expect A-grade customer service. Go in with low expectations and you might be pleasantly surprised quite often. But, if you order a burger with no pickles and still get the pickles, don't complain, you're in Geylang. You get what I'm saying bro?
Q4: So how do I get in contact with a reputable agency?
A4: The English-speaking side of the scene almost entirely exists on a forum called SammyBoyForum (SBF), which runs on vBulletin just like Aus99. It's massive, scale is another ball game compared to this forum. If you speak Chinese, there are some other big ones as well, but SBF is still the main one. I don't speak Chinese so I can't offer insight into those. Anyway, agencies are very active in advertising on SBF, there is a lot of agency-to-client interaction on the forum surface, but bookings happen through other channels. Standard practice is (ad on SBF, incl. pics, details, prices, services, ) -> (roster + specials + more pics/vids on telegram channel) -> (booking through whatsapp or wechat) -> (reviews and feedback back to SBF). The style is a bit different to here because of the regulatory environment. Here, they can make their own websites, have ads on E&B, Scarlett Blue, etc., but the SBF scene is more you interacting with individual agencies through telegram/whatsapp/wechat
Q5: Ok, cool, where do I go?
A5: The parent site is sbf.net.nz
Yes, it's hosted in New Zealand. Don't worry about that, long story short the Singaporean government didn't like the unregulated scene, it got too much media attention while they were trying to crack down on vice and STDs, so the big boss Sammy had to move hosting offshore. Just type that in and you'll get there.
Make an account, you'll need an email to verify, just make a burner or whatever you normally do.
Q6: I made an account and verified it. What do I do now?
A6: Whether you're planning to get deeply involved in the SBF community or not, definitely start by checking out the FAQ and Newbie Issues sections. Familiarise yourself with the culture, especially if you've never spent much time in Asia. There are some cultural differences, especially when it comes to treating senior members with respect, etc., that just stem from the Asian nature of the community. Don't just start spamming stuff in there right away. They have a robust visible point system, both upvotes and downvotes, and if your posts/account get downvoted to shit by seniors with too much points and free time, there's a good chance the agencies will not engage with you. Let's just say there's healthy competition amongst agencies, but they're also not so starved for customers that they really need your business (back to Q2, if you can't break into SBF, you get relegated back to Geylang brothels).
Q7: This is boring as fuck. When do I get to see the girls?
A7: Alright you horny bastard, calm down. Once you've had a look for a good two hours, now you want to check out the following forums from the parent directory:
Health Centre and KTV lounge - these are your massage parlours. A lot of Chinese girls are here, but also many Viets. There's one really big 'chain' of MPs right now where basically all the girls offer BBBJ+CIM in the standard, with option for FS. Some are less 'open' in their ads but still offer FS. Some are more traditional RnTs. The massage is not illegal...but everything else is (refer to Q&A#1), so the services advertised and the services actually offered really vary from shop to shop and girl to girl.
FL Dome 1 - Thai girls, Thai girls, Thai girls. Only Thai girls. You like pad Thai? Go here. Some really good agencies, professional, and trustworthy.
FL Dome 3 - All foreign girls except Thai girls and Chinese girls. Viet, Jap, Russian, Korean, Indonesian, Myanmar, Kazakh, Mongolian are common, roughly in that order. There are some high end agencies importing Moroccans, Brazilians, Italian, Spanish, etc., but not always available. Ever seen a Kazakh model? Phenomenal faces, everytime.
FL Dome L - The locals. Come here if you want a local Singaporean Chinese/Malay girl who is likely good looking but also, in all honestly, extremely overpriced. I've checked out Scarlet Blue and I've seen literal former Maxim models charge less than some of these local Singaporean girls.
Each Dome (1,3,L) has its own sticky thread where the bros post reviews called "Great Bonks". Go in, skip to the latest page (the Dome 1 thread is over 10,000 pages long, like I said, the scale of the scene here dwarfs the Aussie scene), and work your way backwards. Get a feel for what agency you might want to engage with.
Massage reviews are a bit more spread out through the Health Centre forum, you'll have to browse a bit. A lot of the time, Dome 1 bros will stick to Dome 1, etc.
FL Dome 2 is where the Chinese girls used to be, but the forum's dead. From what I understand, all the Chinese girls went to MPs. I don't know why.
Q8: So what's the pricing like? How much padding does my wallet need?
A8: Here, the greatest factor in pricing is often race, not looks or shop, apart from Dome L. The following prices are a very rough guideline based on what's on offer in August 2026 (time of writing).
Massage/Health Centre: Entry (room+massage) is usually SGD60 ~ AUD65. Extras and tips for BBBJ, FS, depend on shop and girl, and not always offered. Read ads carefully if it's vague. All in cost is about 200-350AUD depending on girl and what services.
Thai FLs: SGD150/AUD165 - 1H. SGD250/AUD275 - 2H. Varies depending on agency, maybe +/- 10%, but that's a good indicative range. Most of these Thai girls are light-skinned and pretty good looking, but not 10/10s. Solid 7s. Rare to reject based on looks.
Viet FLs: SGD300/330AUD - 1H. SGD800/AUD880 - 3H
Russian/Euro/Kazakh FLs: SGD450-600/AUD500-660 - 1H . SGD900-1200/AUD1000-1350 - 2H. Almost always model-level looks. 8/10s are rare. 9-10/10 is the norm. Anything below that doesn't make the cut.
Japanese/Korean FLs: SGD600-850/AUD660-940 - 1H. SGD1100-1600/AUD1200-1770 - 2H. Not just model-level looks, most of the time these are actual models. Lots of published Japanese AV stars. I remember there was even one Korean news channel weather girl. Yes, an actual Korean weather girl. Sad to say, I didn't get to try.
Q9: Help! I tried to make a booking and the agency asked me for verification. What do I do? Did I do something wrong? Am I being scammed?
A9: Don't panic. Once again, legality and discretion is different here. They want to make sure you are from the forum, so they will ask your SBF nickname, check out your profile, and see if you're active in the scene. Ahhhh, but you're a tourist, you just made this account yesterday, of course you're not active. Do not worry, my friend, usually they will simply ask you to make a post in a semi-dedicated thread where all the newbies post "verification". The thread has pages on pages on pages of newbies posting one word replies: "verification". Selfies/deposits are not a thing here, except sometimes with the really high end Japanese/Korean/Russian girls, if you're a newbie the agent maybe maybe might ask for extra verification. Makes sense, they've guaranteed these real models, C-list celebrities even, that their time in Singapore will be easy, glamourous, safe, and profitable. You're just some creep with a burner Gmail account he made this morning, or that's what they might assume (and they'd be half right, wouldn't they?). But yeah, with the Thai, Viet, etc., girls, just make a verification post where the other newbies are doing it (you'll find it, just look around), and that should satisfy 90% of the agencies on SBF. If you go back to your agency of choice, after the post has been made, and they still reject you for whatever reason, don't make a fuss, don't complain, just go to another agency. Even senior members sometimes get rejected from agencies (e.g., personal vendettas, reputation for negative reviews, idk, shit happens I guess, I just know even old timers have been locked out of certain agencies for no apparent reason). Just quietly move onto the another one. If you start kicking up a shitstorm over it, it's the easiest way to get rejected from them all. No one wants a problem customer. If you're planning a short trip, consider doing some legwork before you hop on the plane, not after you land. Let an agency know you're a tourist come on x date, etc., so everything goes smoothly once you're there, not wasting a day or two fucking around.
Q10: Hold on, you promised me info on Malaysia! WTF bro?
A10: Relax brother, here's where to find the forums on Malaysia. From the parent directory, head to:
KL - Malaysia's Finest! - for Kuala Lumpur, obviously.
JB Delights - for Johor Bahru, which is just across the bridge from Singapore.
There is a broader Malaysia forum also, but I've never really been, so I don't know that forum well. Just KL and JB for me. Plenty there. FLs, spas (recommend the spas bros, spend a whole 2 days at a spa drinking eating and playing. come out after 2 days, wallet still chubby), MPs.
Some good contacts/establishments can be found in these forums. Yes, I know there are parts of KL where you walk around and the girls are pretty much lined up on the street grabbing at you, but me personally, I don't eat street meat. If you're like me, do yourself a favour and get those contacts or make note of good establishments before you go to KL. In KL, the top guy to know is SNN. You'll figure it out. Just a warning though, you have to pay his fee to get his list of girls, that's his business model. Once you get the list, you're golden.
Q11: I've browsed around SBF, but I don't understand what these guys are saying. Why are there so many weird terms over there?
A11: A lot of the terms common in the English-speaking SEA scene are derived from Hokkien (i.e., Hong Kong & South Chinese language) because of the historically Chinese background. Some are just abbreviations we use differently (there is a term list in the FAQ/newbie section that covers some, not all). Here are some common ones that Aussies might find difficult at first:
OKT - Agency boss, manager, mamasan, captain, introducing contact, etc. (literal Hokkien translation is 'pimp'). Some places in Malaysia just call this captain, especially in a spa or MP.
Stable - Agency (to keep the horses...I mean whoreses in)
Shiokk - Hokkien origin term. No clue what the translation is, I just know this is good. If a BJ was shiokk, that's a thumbs up.
Bakness - thickness/fatness. If you like them slim, you want a girl whose bakness is low. Hokkien origin term.
Angmoh - caucasian. Some ladies do not take. If the ad/contact says "no angmoh sorry", then no white customers.
FL - Freelancer. Pretty much any WL outside of Geylang or a MP is a FL, even if they're with a stable.
FR - Field Report. Their version of After Report. You go, scout the field, and report back to the bros.
AR - anal rimming. They do not have after reports, which are called FRs over there. So if you see AR on SBF, do not get confused. That's tongue on ass action, no writing involved.
RTF - Return to fuck. Self explanatory. If she's good, your FR should say you'd RTF. If not, you don't.
SYT - Sweet young thing
XMM - Hokkien origin acronym meaning really young looking girl, even younger than SYT maybe? Not a mandatory connotation of taboo, but sometimes the lines are blurred. Idk, not my thing, my ideal range is 25-35.
PRC - People's Republic of China. Chinese WL/FLs are referred to as PRCs, not Chinese.
RTC - Return to China. When PRC goes back home with her hard (sometimes not) earned cash.
Painting - DATY (idk, you paint the pussy with your tongue? lot of Picassos across the ocean it seems)
Red and blue or r,b,: Describing Singaporean cash notes. The SGD 10 dollar note is red and the 50 dollar note is blue. So if the damages were $170, they might say 3b2r (3x50 + 2x10 = 170)
Thank you for reading my guide to Singapore (and a bit of Malaysia). Questions, feedback (e.g., stfu loser u dnt knw sht, or thanks mate this was helpful let me know if you need a hand in the Aussie scene) are welcome.
