I am an amateur poet hence I punt.

In the dimmest of dim light
I see your naked contours
outlined by the table light

It etches our sadness
and misery
As everything is transactional
And nothing is real.

After the passion is drained
emptiness returns
And the long walk back home begins
The warmth of home bekons
like lonely street lights
like darting moths.
