Going to Korea and Beijing in Jan 2013 any tips for Beijing???

I will be taken care of in Korea but i need help in Beijing does any brother have any first hand experience/info about the punting scene in Beijing??? I found a few pics from various escort sites/operations in Beijing but im guessing these photos are Beijing's version of Cracker.com(totally fake) and the only advice ive received about Beijing is watch out for pick pockets and beggars, and dont give big notes or you will get ripped off with fake change???
