Oh and in the A-league - Sydney FC will of course win the minor premiership but will choke in the Finals.
    Melbourne Victory will win it.
For the AFL, I think the Hawks can regenerate this year if Roughhead stays healthy and kicking goals in the final - just don't know how much the impact of losing Sam Mitchell would be in the mid field .

Geelong will be even more danger this year with Dangerfield and Selwood putting last year's semi lost behind them !

And I agree, the GWS and Western Bulldogs should be even better this year with all their young guns !

And the Swans will always be there, just never know if they will turn up on GF Day ??

The Indian team have fight back hard and unfortunately the Aussie tails didn't add too much to the runs, now the home side is 4/213 , six wickets in hands, if the lead gets over 160/180+ it will very hard to run down !

Need some Lyon and SOK magic today !!

    Go Aussie !!

Starc was lethal with the second new ball , another two wickets in an over and Hazelwood 6/67 !

But would 188 runs be too much to get ?

It was a bad omen when Renshaw got out early ! But he's only young and have performed well, he can stay! We need more experienced batsman in the middle order!

We now must drop M Marsh and recall Khawaja, and bring in Peter Neville who had made tons of runs while Wade made none !!

yeah we really need to re-bolster the middle order (its fucking horrible). we rely too much on the likes of handscomb to carry the middle order. I still feel that we should drop both the marsh brothers as well as wade. Warner also needs to get over that hoodoo he has with ashwin who to be fair absolutely bamboozled warner in that short exchange.

I just have a feeling that the Aussie boys were rushing it too much in the run chase ! They had two full sessions plus the whole of the fifth day to get that 188 runs, all they need to do is to get a single or two per over and get the odd boundary! And protect their wickets! But they were racing along at 4/5 runs an over as if they must get those runs in 50 overs of less?

It's been 4 innings and no 50's from David Warner, he must stand up in the next match if we are to stop the Indian momentum. But then again , we ain't see nothing from Kohli yet either !!

I didnt watch the Test, but agree that Aussi batting order needs a few batters changed. We just gave the Indians motivation for a comeback

    Smith DRS

Also, as much as Kohli is an arrogant brat, was not good that Smith looked for help re DRS. Imagine how much outrage there would be from Aussies if the situation was reversed.

How ironic the Indian team crying victim and accusing the Australian team of cheating, when for the last 12 months both Indian team management, curators and Captain Kole have been conspiring to deliver up such bias cricket wickets............

Sorry, I actually didn't know it was not allowed to look at the change room for some advices during the match. How about on a tennis court, I always thought the players look up to the coach box to see if he/she should challenge a line call. And so are all the balls sports !

But if it is not legal then you follow the rules I suppose ?

tbh warner is getting shredded by ashwin 1v1, he just needs to get that hoodoo out of his mind. he was playing off side when balls spun into him and was playing legside when balls were spinning away from him.

Yeah, certain bowler just seems to be able to get certain batsman out all the times :

Peter Siddle for KP and Stuart Broad for Michael Clarke quickly come to mind !

I think somehow Warner needs to find a way to destroy Ashwin like what Watson did to Graeme Swan in Perth and pushed him out to early retirement ! Like 26 runs in that over !!

hmmm as a senior player warner definitely needs to step up, could well be a career defining moment.

Another classic match last night Broncos vs Cowboys. Decided to have a bet for more than 6.5 tries in the game. 3 minutes into the second half and Jake Granville scores the fifth try of the night, looking good.... I only need 2 tries in the next 37 minutes of play. Turns out including extra time that there was just 1 more try scored in the next 44 minutes (and that was off a blatant forward pass!) Anyway, a thoroughly entertaining game and that man Jonathan Thurston did it again... Absolute freak.

Yeah, I was kicking myself for not putting something on the draw after 80 min - Sportsbet offered $17! Lots of punters did apparently.

Well, what can you say about JT and the Cowboys? It's only the second round and they are playing like finals footy, two golden point games against the Raiders and Broncos and won them both ! If their key players stay healthy, they are top four easily.

Broncos v Cowboys and the Barcelona comeback were the highlights of the week for me.
I wish I had money on Barca to quality for the quarter finals, or better still put a live bet on them to qualify late in the second half.
