    Cox Plate - Winx (unbeatable)
    Caulfield Cup - Humidor
Melbourne Cup - too early, I want to see the races leading up to it first, Amelies Star looks good

Its interesting that the three best horses of the modern era are all mares.
Makybe Diva - best long distance
    Winx - best middle distance
    Black Caviar - best sprinter.

I think Sunline is probably worthy to be included ?

Ps. If Chautauqua would have won the Everest on Saturday, he would be the highest stakes winner passing the Diva, but Winx should do that come Saturday week.

Sakio The Scorpion Bika headlines a big card at Sydney Star Casino this Sunday.
However the fight which should be a cracker is Kris George vs Jack Brubaker for
the Commonwealth and OPBF Welterweight Title.
Lucas Big Daddy Browne is headed to Russia for a almighty challenge with Sergey
    Kuzmin on Nov 27. Kuzmin is 11 - 0 8 ko and a tank.
I fear Kuzmin will ko Browne.

And for the MMA aficionado's watch out for Mackenzie Dern .
She is a 24 yr old Jiu Jitsu phenom and prodigy.
She ended Gaby Garcia 7 yr underdefeated run in JJ in 2015.
Former UFC Lightweight Champion and stablemate Benson Henderson rated her
as potentially better than Rhonda Rousey.

Everyone should hold your bets on the Caulfield Cup until tomorrow and see what the weather is like. Thunderstorms are expected in Melbourne today but clear on Friday and Saturday. Not sure if the heaven would really open up and give us a soft track .

If there are enough rain, the Murray Baker pair of Jon Snow and Bonneval will be very hard to beat. That is if Bonneval can get over its lameness and cleared by the Stewards !

I do not follow the gallops like I used to, but I like these two. My two picks would be Marmelo and Harlem.

    Good luck.

It was meant to be an easy pick for Bonneval if she would have won the Caulfield Stakes last week. Then you just throw in her stablemate Jon Snow, the two Weir horses and the two Hayes imports for the minor placings.

But something had gone wrong with her and now even she was pass fit to race, I just lost some confidence.

And from what I saw on Johannes Vermeer, he was closing in real fast at the end of the 2,000 metres and looked like a good thing !

    So here's my Trifecta bet:

    1st : 3, 11
    2nd : 1, 3, 4, 7, 11, 15, 16
    3rd: the field

    $180 for the one unit

Or you can box the 7 horses for $210

    Good luck everyone

    Cheers

    Almost bro
    You got 2nd and 4th.
It sure was a day for the underdog.
But you missed the other long shot and winner Boom Time.
    Major boilover today.
First 4 paid $145,000. That would have been nice.

Congratulations to David Hayes, winning his third Caulfield Cup with Boom Time, a horse he also personally owns out right !

That's a cool $1.5 million owners cheque going his way.

Anyone even notice that we have a Rugby League World Cup starting this week ?

I'm only asking all you League fans of course.

And how on earth did Channel 7 get the broadcast?

It's just not the same without the commentary from Ray Warren, Sterlo, Guts and all the usual Immortals !

Haynes just took Brunt to the cleaners in the last over for 21:

    2, 4, 4 (dropped), 6, 4, 1

She is on 81 (49 balls)

Tiny girl but so much power !

Winx won today of course - she is too good.
I reckon my tip for the Caulfield Cup Humidor will win the Melbourne Cup - he looked great today. A great second place to the invincible Winx and the extra distance will suit him
