There was a story recently about these 'food critics' and whether their real purpose is to get free rewards by harassing restaurants or cafes. In Sydney, it has led some Sydney chefs to ban Instagram influencers asking for free food that is, some top food bloggers since they are wanting free meals by playing on the fears of the operators. In such case, they can write negative reviews thereby influencing some customers where to dine.
