It's very naive to think that if sex workers get money from the government they will stop doing sex work.
Sex workers don't want to live on a subsistence income.
They have to earn a lot of money for some of the following reasons.
1. Have to send money overseas to support family or pay debts.
2. Saving up or paying for an apartment back home or in Sydney.
3. Want to live a lavish lifestyle; parties, designer bags and shoes, shopping etc.
4. Owe agents/sponsors/loan sharks a lot of money.
5. Gambling, drug and other addictions.
6. Some or all of the above.

So even if the government gave them $750 per week they will just take it and say "thank you very much" and continue working and earning more. Most money they earn is cash so they don't have to declare it.
It will just be like a tip from Scomo and they don't even have to suck his happy clappy middle aged dick to get it
