Thank you Dr Bean for your great response,

I came back from a trip to Thailand in December (not sex tourism). Met a girl off Bumble - super super cute. She has an office job and is seemingly a normal girl.
We hit it off and keep chatting after I returned back. I'd be down to go back and meet her or hell, I'd buy her tickets over here and she can stay at mine - if we are talking punts, that's still cheaper than the equivalent.
I do feel suspicious that I don't know the full story. She speaks English, is really pretty, really fun and bubbly --- but she could be running game. Regardless, she isn't asking me for money and is acting genuinely nice to me so I'll enjoy the moment for as long as it lasts and move on eventually
When you hit if off Coco did you just go out on dates or did you sleep together? Apologies if I am asking too personal a question. Just wondering how far it progressed.
Thank you old Snake. I just think there are many facets of every culture. We are too quick to judge because we mainly see Thai women through the lens of sex workers, which makes sense because of the forum we are on. But there are more to them just as there are more to East European women. In my home country, the Czechs get a bad name as the women come over on visas to work as cleaners and moonlight as escorts. But that is just a small subset of the society.
Having worked in Thailand in corporate capacity I can assure you most thai girls would not date a whitey especially an older one. They would lose face being seen with a foreigner as some prostitute.
Thais are very proud of their culture and country especially now where they consider themselves a developing country (more of an opinion).
Prostitution and bar girls are less than 1% of the population yet tourists assume because they visit Pattaya and Phuket that the whole country survives on sex trade.
Most of the sad tales you here about thai girls and foreigners are probably true. But there are many successful unions that people don't need to post about. I do feel for 99% of thai women who get tarnished with the same brush.
Some advice on Thai women after being married to one and living with a few.
It would be best to find a Thai girl that already has PR or citizenship.
It's rare but even better to find a ABT or a girl that went to highschool and uni here. I met a Thai girl who was a qualified accountant working at a bank. She was amazing, from her looks, personality to attitude and financial assets. She was 24 at the time with 2 investment properties under her belt.

Not sure why would people marry a girl based on her nationality...
I've always had "weeb" friends (aka "Weeaboo" or nerds obsessed over Japan) who dreams of marrying Japanese women. What I find after dating several Japanese women is that if you're not in tune with their culture and etiquette, your marriage will end up trashed. And most of these "weebs" know nothing about Japanese etiquette, they're basically fantasizing based on what they see in JAV and anime.
With Thai girls, not all of them are the same. You'll get ones who grew up in metro cities like Bangkok their whole lives and some who are from the countryside and settled in Bangkok later on in life. Both these categories will behave so much differently because of their initial upbringing. City life teaches people greed, therefore the reason why many city girls will treat you like an ATM and put you all the way down in the loyalty pyramid.
I've also met Asian ethnic minorities from Russia (Turkic & Mongol based). Their mannerism and loyalty is way beyond what I've encountered before, they usually have a dying loyalty for whoever they're married to and will definitely do housework without being told to, but they prefer marrying their own kind because it is their culture for the man to ask the bride's parents permission before marrying. If the parents aren't satisfied that you can uphold their culture then they will not allow the relationship or the marriage to happen.
In the end I would say that if you really want to find a good Thai wife, you need to stop thinking of them as live sex dolls. Talk to them and see what topic interests them. Of course if the only thing they talk about is money and luxury items, walk away. You want to find someone who is interested in you - your background, your life struggles etc. But you also need to work on your image otherwise no one would be interested in a slob who spends his free time trolling online.
Number one rule is obviously don't date a bar girl if you are after a serious relationship.
It's just not gonna work, and you are gonna get ripped off, and it will end in tears - mainly yours.
I know someone is gonna say "my mate Gary married a bar girl and they are happy and have 2 beautiful kids".
Yeah sure there are always exceptions, someone wins the Powerball but 10 million people don't.
The morale of the story is you don’t date escorts and you certainly don’t marry them. You simply pay and enjoy them
25/30 years ago during Keating's "Recession we had to have" a lot of guys - and their wives/girlfriends, lost their jobs. They had 16-17% mortgages and had to take whatever work they could get. A fair number of them became ML's/WL's and proved to be pretty quick learners. There were probably more married workers around at that time than any period since, and I for one have fond memories of them - and their skills!
Never underestimate an aussie gal!
And at this point your "Big Head" needs to ask yourself the right questions. Where at only 24 did she obtain the capital for two deposits? Banks have special lending schemes for staff, but to qualify: 1. you have to be an owner occupier, 2. you only get one loan on one property - any subsequent loans are at normal commercial rates. 3. you usually have to be employed for at least 2 years before you can apply for their special staff schemes. 4. A 24 year old qualified accountant is a little unusual, she would have to have an accounting degree and to have passed her professional exams, not impossible but unusual at that age perhaps. 5. Just what does a 24 year old accountant with about 2 years experience get paid?
So the question the "Big Head" needs an answer for is: How did she raise the capital?
