The way she so nonchalantly told me about it suggested it was no big deal to her. That's the point being made here, a guy drops 1k on a present for a girl who you can be almost certain hasn't even told him her real name, he receives no extra benefit from it. Now I say good luck to both parties involved of he wants to do that it's his money, and if that's what floats her boat good luck to her as well.
