I did book Jessie several weeks ago, only to then get a message a bit later that she had cancelled.
When I did show up for me booking (the next day) with the alternate I asked why she was still being advertised as being on the roster when she had cancelled.
The answer was that they just say she is fully booked.

So that she is on the roster is no guarantee that she is actually working that day

A couple of times now I've had a confirmed booking for the next day and made the trip out there only to be messaged saying the girl ain't in yet but you can have x girl instead. I'm not one to reward shit behaviour so I've declined but having wasted time travelling and fuel kinda leaves a shitty taste.
